I hate this phone. I have one app and can't install anything else. I can't store photos, always deleting messages because even with a SD card, it says I have no room in memory. But it only has a small amount showing taking up space. I can't update pre-installed apps.

Very worst piece of crap in existence.. thankfully also a cheap piece of crap. Thankfully also this phone will serve to teach folks what a useless company this is... my guess is they wil be forced to rebrand. 150mb internal ram? In 2016? Seriously? Can't download jack shit, bombs out constantly, browser closes from lack of ram. Ensure you stay aeay from alacatel if you'd prefer a stress free existence. Crap, utter crap..you'd be better served sending smoke signals.

I was using this phone for 2 years (2013-2015) and never had any issues to report. Amazing phone for that price. Still have it, packed in the box. Loved the camera. When there's a good lightning you can make stunning photos.
Giving it max stars! Recommendations!

pane, 12 Mar 2016 your comment is very bad as well as the many others who h... moreI wish but this phone as a birthday present in November I went to pick it out the representative at the store is a friend of my daughter's apparently he was only interested in his commission he said this was the newest phone out and how great they were and that there was no problems with it that it was better than the one I got when I first started Cricket last year actually that's BS because the cheaper phone with the $50 rebate works better than the $200 piece of crap that I have it calls people it doesn't allow me to call out it changes my apps it's given me so much problems with being able to hear people on the phone it picks and chooses what it wants to do that week or that day and I have to tolerate it there is no return policy and they're $7 a month plan says that it would charge me 150 to $200 for a new phone that's exactly what I paid for this piece of crap what does the $7 cover everything that's happened to it is they're doing I would recommend highly not and I do mean not capital letters by this phone

this is what happens to those who want more of the phone, and in the desire to improve they makes him break down .
How my phone works perfectly, without a hitch , so do not touch software, do not ''ROOT'' and do not do pirating on the phone .
In desire to help you i give you advice ;
1. do'' hard reset''.
2. go to 'play store' download the app ''stubborn trojan kiler'' then run and kill trojans

... moreI agree....worst ever. I cannot read my emails without downloading n when I try to to read it takes so long or never opens either way I never can read them from the phone.
The settings are complicated n not easily accessable like other phones befor where theres an icon above. It goes off n on when it wants. The battery dont last long and the alarm is not reliable. Also even though I have the headphones clicked in to listen to music the phone still rings n everyone can hear it. We have a strict phone policy so I usually leave it turned off. It's a metro piece of shit that I bought as an upgrade n recommended by ine of their employees as a big seller w no complaints....yeah right!
Wats w that y aren't u able to see phones features before buying them like verizon,to see if you like it. Then you cant even return it.
BUYER BWARE METRO PIECE OF SHITS IS A RIP OFF. I HATE HATE HATE THIS PHONE!

I have had this phone for over one year; I got it through Bell Canada with a two year plan. From the beginning it was calling people that I was not dialling and I ended up having to pay
way over my original agreement. Lately the phone is not letting me call out or receive messages, It keeps saying that I have not put in a SIM card and it at times will mot charge.
I am so fed up,with this phone. Under no circumstances should anyone get this phone. It totally sucks.

Im using alcatel ot 6030d dual sim for more than a year. And i never had any frustrations using it. This is my kind of phone.

This Alcatel phone is new but has so many serious faults.
1. It will not download ANY photos sent by text message.
2. It sometimes fails to ring when a call comes even though it is turned on.
2. If I have 3 messages to listen to, and I press "5" to delete the first , it deletes the lot when I have only heard one. The worst phone I have ever tried to use!
