All I have to say is that its a piece of shit NEVER buy it, it stops apps and music plays by itself keyboard takes about a minute to type and turns off by itself no storage even with an SD card..press the home button and wait about 2 minutes to react..worst phone I've had. Not to say the apps get closed by themselves and calls emergency number by itself...DONT recommend for anybody

I got the Alcatel Idol 2s from Bell 1.5 years ago and it is the worst mistake with phones I have made. It won't read the extra memory card so can only use the phone memory. It won't play music correctly, I even downloaded other players but the processor will stop the music for 3-10 seconds several times during a song (so it can buffer I'm guessing). To wake the phone up I litterally have to press the on/off button for so long the phone wakes up fiinally and wants to restart. I would not suggest these phones to anybody. I have another few mponths until I can get a different phone but may but this one out because it is almost unusable.

I have had this phone for a little over 3 years, I had really minor problems with it and it did, however, slow down with time. Asides from that, the phone is still working fine, and I'll still use it from time to time, but I upgraded to a Lenovo Vibe Shot (lovely phone as well).

Stay away from alcatal phones, i had one, only lasted about 6 months then the battery died, could not get one anywhere and when i finally did locate a battery for it in america of all places it was about 5 dollars more that the origial cost of the entire phone.

i bought this phone because my other phone died and i need a phone asap! Do NOT buy this phone! it constantly over heats. I cant even open an app without it stating the ap is not responding. I have to shut the phone off and restart it constantly. The phone even refuses to shut off. Very annoying!!!!! I make sure i delete all cookies and searches and scan the phone for viruses...... it still wont operate apps. Internet......what internet access. every time i try to user the internet i get the same thing...... internet NOT responding. And forget about using a couple apps at once....not gonna happen.

I bought this phone 5 months ago. I also,bought a case protector along with it. The first 30 days it work fine. The first thing that happen is it stop taken screen shots. Didn't really pay it no mind but, a day or two later it wouldn't power on. I have had my fair share of cell phones but, this is by far the worst of the worst of cell phones. When I went to the cricket store to see if they could reset my phone they acted like it was something I had done to the phone. Never again will I buy off brand phone.

When my phone died the other day, I was desperate to find a phone
Being a tech tard, I bought the cheapest phone I could find till I could find a good one. I have to say this cheap Alcatel One Touch is the best damn phone I've ever had. Its fast, easy and so far, no problems. Screw replacing this one. It skunks my last two failed Samsung Galaxy's and the pile of deceased phones in my drawer.

After one month of service with this piece of shit phone I'm ready to find one that works. The idol overheats constantly and when I told the representative at cricket, they gave me the bull sit story that overheating was never reported previously to their knowlege. I will ship can this piece and purchase a phone that works.

So I suggest all of the people here google search join the lawsuit to sue Alcatel and their parent company for FALSE ADVERSTIMENT !

Alcatel One Touch Idol X. I've been using this phone since 2014. Still using it now BUT I'm having a problem right now. I can't switch on my phone. Like what? I didn't even do anything. Like seriously WHY? Been trying for hours. Actually this happened last two days also. I tried asking someone who knew about this kind of problem, so they asked me to charge it to see if it'll work but nada. NONE! He said that my phone is ruin already. So I give up. But then, the day after, my phone work. WOW! Amazing. Haha. But no. I can't switch on again today. What is the actual problem with this Alcatel?

The Alcatel 5.5 touch one is a terrible mobile I had. It get very hot in few minutes. and I have to siwtch if off or bring neawr an air conditioner to cool it down. I will never ever recommdend
it to anyone. Kindly note it price in the market went went down by 35% since I bought it two months ago. I regret I bought it. !!

Only had this phone since feb. I bought the case and sreen protector. the first one lasted till may when it fell off my bed a whole foot down and cracked the screen and wouldnt recognize my touch. so I dished out 75$ for a replacement phone and now the screen is totally unresponsive to my touch but its opening apps and having a blast by itself. worst phone ever.

Alcatel products are worthless. Pricey but worthless. I paid $125.00 for this piece of shit phone and thought it would be worthy because of its price. First of all the reception is horrible. I had major issues with people hearing me on the other end. When I told this to Alcatel they tried to blame it on my service provider. Please. Within 5 months of purchasing this piece of shit, the phone went completely mute. The ringer, incoming text, email notifications all silent and the phone was not on vibrate. I literally had to watch my phone to see if it was ringing because I couldn't hear it. When I tried to use Alcatel's one year warranty, they had the nerve to make the customer return phone to them at customer's expense. Not to mention Alcatel has some of the rudest customer support representatives ever. Even after they fixed phone they didn't even tell me what the problem was. What reason would a phone that cost $125.00 just go bezerk in 5 months. As if that wasn't enough, within 2 months of me receiving that crappy phone back the text message indicator wouldn't clear and basically telling me I received a text even though I didn't. When I reported it to Alcatel of course they want me to send them the phone at my expense and I of course declined and said the hell with it. I'll just deal with it and wait for this piece of shit to completely combust. Little did I know that would happen 8 months later. That's right, Alcatel One Touch's battery of only 13 months old died and needed to be replaced. Obviously, I wouldn't sink one more cent into this piece of shit so needless to say my Alcatel One Touch is being used for no more than a overpriced paperweight. I replaced it with a real phone where the people I'm speaking to can actually hear what I'm saying so it was not my provider as Alcatel tried to elude to. People do your homework before you purchase your phone and read reviews. Don't be like me and many others. In summary Alcatel, your phones are crappy and good riddance.

ALCATEL ONE TOUCH (idol) IS THE WORST PHONE I HAVE EVER HAD!Do not purchase this phone.It gets the worst reception,will have no bars in so many places (where all my other phones did).It always feel hot,the battery is the worst ever.Goes dead faster than any phone I've ever had.It drops calls all the time and won't let you read text messages that are too long.Says to download, then won't download them. Can't put your personal signature on your text messages.I could go on and on,its horrible!I'm actually considering using my old phone with a craked screen...seriously.You'll hate it and you'll be frusterated with it everyday i promise you.
