This phone really is a awful awful phone I brought it 2 months ago and strait away it freezes doesn't recognise me typing it lags crashes its so bad why you do it on purpose to annoy people how about u do your self a massive favour and scrap all these phones and put them where the sun doesn't shine because iv had enough of it iv had really bad phones but this one went right to the top on day one oh yh u lot at alcotel are focussing on live wallpaper when it can't even handle its own keypad completely pathetic.

I purchased the phone and it takes a whole minute to make a simple phone call. Thankfully I wasn't calling for help!! I've taken it back for a FULL REFUND!! THIS COMPANY IS HOTT GARBAGE!!

bought my idol 3 on a 2 year plan in june of 2015. in dec of 2015 i was on the phone when it let out a screech so loud i went deaf in my left ear. i called my doctor later at home from land line and saw her that day and started my journey of specialists foe 2 months. no luck nothing could be done . i have been wearing a hearing aid now and can only say this phone has made life miserable for me and my wife. hearing aid is ok but nothing like my own hearing. is there a law suit out there if other people have this experience. if so please put it on the web site. i live in ontario canada. thank you for reading this john b.

Pice of friking shiiit, I change this phone with company warranty 2 time and I am going for a 3, Dont buy this is useless!

This Alcatel phone has to be the worst piece of garbage I have ever bought and I have bought some terrible phones. It doesn't recognise me typing sometimes. It doesn't open apps sometimes and it freezes constantly. Im trying to open different types of apps and the phone just can't handle it. When ur in a rush and need something like an order number for cinema tickets it just freezes. Doesn't recognise when u press something on the keyboard. This phone is so bad and it's so bad when u need it the most. I was on the phone with my friend and i could hear them but they couldn't hear me. This phone has to be the worst phone ever and is embarrassing that this phone is still on the market when it's so bad and piece of garbage. Should have been scrapped

It could be that I'm spoiled with having a note 4 from when it first came out + 2 years. But this phone is the worst piece of garbage ever. This shouldn't be available to the public, and I'm astonished I was able to type that. That's how bad this is.

Just do yourself a favor , take warning to all of these negative comments. For they are not highly exaggerated or stretched even a little bit. If anything their all to generous. Just do yourself a solid and save your money and yourself some stress and frustration.

In regards to the Alcatel Ideal phone:
Made the mistake of purchasing this phone for a few days until I am able to get to AT&T for my real phone to be fixed. At first, I thought this was a steal of a deal, and upon first using it, everything seemed fine. However, I have not been receiving any text messages--even with my own SIM card inside the phone. Camera is also shit, and it appears that I am always in a dark room--even with every light on and screen at full resolution.
Bummed I chose this over a flip phone... at least with that, I would be able to be in contact with people. Poor form, Alcatel.

I bought the Alcatel One Touch about 3 months ago, and it stinks. I turn the phone off, but if I'm touching it anywhere, it dials some random number.....but it doesn't give you the screen with the hang-up button, you have to touch and touch and touch to get to one, and then apologize to whoever you called. Yesterday, it put someone on hold - I wasn't even holding it and when I got control of it, it hung up on them. I'm looking for a new phone. This is not a smart phone, it's a dumb phone - I think I liked my old senior citizen phone a lot better - never had these problems. Photos are awful.

this phone sucks whomever made this phone was high or chewing on crack deep fried in shit juice. not that I was told this was a top of the line model 6.0 Marshmallow 4g lighting speed data camera whole 9 I get its 3" slippery as hell screen small top of the line model more like a bottom

Every Alcatel I've ever had the displeasure of owning/operating has been the worst POS ever! I can't understand how this company still exists. The screens barely respond to what you intend to select and every text or email I have to compose is an insane headache. The camera on this phone is completely worthless and I'm endlessly frustrated by this terrible piece of electronic garbage. Do yourself a favor...don't purchase an Alcatel.

Terrible phone and Best Buy recommended it - not cheap either. Shame on you Best Buy and Alcatel. Can't read texts - in wierd colored background - no way to change.

Very poor phone. Have returned to THE POS with the phone since purchase. Attempted to get another phone. DENIED. Not satisfied with that decision. Want a workable phone Will not purchase any other Alcatel product. Phone does not charge, ring, surf the internet and cannot hear conversations. NOT HAPPY, DISAPPOINTED. NOT RECOMMENDED. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.I want a new workable phone. NOW.
