:I've suspected, that processor, they
were using, will hang,lags.. or can't
handle big memory capacities.
& that battery life will be shortened
used with extra memory processing.
after all, it's not multi'core like
android phones. at best, we got the job done.

: get a phone 200mhz processor, back in the days
where a i386 90mhz min. required to play an mp3's.

See, it all depends on you needs... after all much
savings of battery charged per use.

cvegreen, 16 Apr 2011I have been a few days the Alcatel OT-355 carbon black vers... moreThe micro SD slot is on the left hand side of the phone, on the side you will see a little rubber cover, peel this off from the top. Put your card in upside down.

I've bought this phone and tried to put music on it but every time when I connect the phone with USB to my computer, the computer charges the phone and I can't put music files on it! I've downloaded Alcatel PC Suite on my computer,but the program doesn't have this type of phone...

The specs state that has a 3.5 mm phone jack, but the phone only has a mini USB slot, also for the ears. Can you change that? Thx

I have been a few days the Alcatel OT-355 carbon black version. It is a basic model, but you know before you buy I think. The radio is superb with RDS. email works perfectly, the internet is a bit slow but does work well. Just shame that it does not support Java. The screen is great, the colors are lively. The weather report works perfectly. The keyboard is a bit small, but I have small fingers. It does no 3.5mm jack, only a mini USB connection for charging and for the ears. How does the micro SD card I do not know, have not yet. But for a low budget phone it is great that it is equipped with a micro SD card slot. I love it. The only minus point I have is that the first load but has sustained two days. I hope this situation improves, GPRS is always on. This will affect battery life however.
