Flash, 21 Feb 2011Is this phone playing large size of .mp4 file correctly? ... moreTry to lower the brightness level to 2 or 1 depending on which one suites you...decreasing the brightness level will lengthen your battery life...try to setup back light on whenever necessary for the screen and you can just turnoff the back light for the keypad...That's how my phone is setup and it takes around 7-10 days before my battery goes dead...considering that I am a heavy caller..I call around 1-6 hours a day...around 7-10% (estimate based on my observation, no specific test conducted) of battery discharge everyday...

hi nelson,
i tried installing games that you've provided but when i think i installed maybe 10 or more games when im going to java application my phone hangs then shutdown, and when i tried deleting the other games it went back to normal, whats seems to be the prob? the phone cant handle to many games? im only using 4gig mem, what if i use 8 gig? will it happen on 8 gig? thanks.. more power!

Luck, 02 Mar 2011Mr. Nelson. Is this phone can records sounds unlimited? ... moreThis can record sounds but cannot read pdf file so you have to convert it to .txt format. I did not experienced problem with my dual sim (OT-710D) except the back cover - it's hard to open it unlike my previous Alcatel models. I don't have any idea about upgrading to the latest firmware because I don't have PC in our house. I am only using our office PC and will just use my OT-710 in browsing the net when I am off duty. Sorry, I cannot comment on the radio signal because I am not currently using FM and mp3 currently.

Can use this to read pdf documents?
I experience low reception of radio signal.Are there any way to increase it? I used HTC phone hands free set but result was same.
Is sentivity get increase after upgrading to latest firmware by using onetouch application? What are latest fixes new version include?
I heard Dual SIM has some health concern.Do u know anyting about it related this phone?

Just to clarify, this handset does NOT play .wma files.
Just had to return one due to this, despite GSMArena saying it does (yes disclaimer)
Had put music on via data cable and straight onto memory card and neither way would handset play the file. "Format Error" - brand new class 2 memory card, tried in another ot-710 and still won't play.

As I experienced in my unit, the battery will last up to 7 days if the phone is used only for sms sending and receiving and no other activities.

Hello Mr. Nelson,
Is this phone playing large size of .mp4 file correctly?
I tried to play one .mp4 file but it was failed.I want play .mp4 file not 3gp.
Also battery standby time is around 36 hours.
How can I resolve these issues

Looking at buying this phone, need to know, is it actually good after a long time? say a year? is it sturdy? is it responsive or is it slow? what are the common problems accosiated with it.
im using a 4 year old lg cookie now and its great but its borrowed so i need a replacement as good as that. and thats tough!
