you can definitely buy this phone.
you tube videos are possible to play.you need to manually adjust the stream settings in video player.
camera clarity is nice as it is provided with 2mp camera.
earphone clarity is nice but volume is some what low.of course it is a problem but it is helpful in maintaining battery levels.
touch screen is somewhat resistive but you will be accoustomed to it.

I did figure it out that the resolution was the main problem. And itz a disappointment that the phone cant open images larger than 1600x1200. Also, some other image files that I had modified in the PC also failed to open even though it was of smaller size. Is there any way by which we can modify and let the mobile open larger images without affecting the phone itself?
More help Needed...
1) I installed a PDF reader from the site that GREG provided earlier...

But the reader I chose & installed wasn't helpful and failed to read documents. So I deleted it as that was the only option in the menu (Java software). I did the mistake of installing it in the phone itself....so even after deleting it memory is not free and some space is lost.
Is there any uninstalling function in the phone?
& how do i clean it up & recover the precious memory?
For any new users, some of my own experience with (my sisters) OT-806D. Its a good phone and I've liked it except for the small keys & some other functions like editing the pictures etc.
Battery charge wasn't great when I used it last time. I used it to browse Internet including to post some reply here. Maybe a maximum of 2-3 hours on the internet. Mobile was at rest whole Night and then again 1-2 hours of browsing in the morning, 2-3 calls..... thats all. And the battery got empty in just 12-13 hours.
2nd time also it wasn't great, max 2 days of standby time with very limited use of internet, but for about 12 hours BT was left activated unknowingly. But still it should not cut the battery life by so much....
I don't know if this is just the case with the mobile I bought. Anyway I'll check it few more times and plans to contact the service centre if the things are not improving... to see if battery have got any problem.

the wireless card is starting on it self to turn on the wi-fi and spending my battery energy much faster. has someone found solution to this problem? thanks!

i own such a phone i am typeing on it right now. internet works fine as long as you have wifi around you my only problem with it is that i can't see vidos on it and i would like to watch youtube on my phone. Can someone help

[deleted post]you can download a youtube app or you can download bolt browser, I think I even watched it from Opera. there are a few more ways but these are simple. Just be sure that you're video player settings are set on wifi (and, of course, that you're conected via wifi) because gprs won't download any video in a few years :)

I am looking to buy a dual sim phone which will have GPRS and Wifi and I should be able to check my mail, view office attachments. I am confused between this phone and the Spice Dual Sim android phone Mi270. I know Android is far better than this Java based phone, but physical QWERTY is far better than a touch qwerty. Also this phone is cheaper compared to the spice. Can anyone suggest me which phone to go in for?
Is is possible to view doc,excel attachment in this phone?

@Megashark and everyone else who tried to help - thank you for the tips, but nothing worked. Did a factory reset and now everything's ok. It'll only take a day or two to get the deleted apps from my bank and others.
This was too frustrating, and it still is because I still don't know why (and how) the phone memory filled up when I installed almost everything (except 2 100 kb apps) on my memory card.
I saw (in the first posts) that I'm not the only one who had this problem, but there is still no solution. I'll track the phone memory and apps a bit more carefully now and see if it happens again
