i just dld one touch upgrade 1.8.3 but it was not showing my phone just shows as connect ur phone_ _.
pls tel me the procedure,
my system is win7 64 bit...

WHY its getting WARMER evrytime im using it?.games,camera/vdeo,browsing in it,etc...WHY it keeps RESTARTING it self & im forced to put-out my SimLock (PINCODE) settings (unlike to my other cp)..WHAT im i (REALLY) supposed todo to UPGRADE it to GINGERBREAD?.Is it REALLY SKYPE applicable as sellers told me?.Its my 1ST time to use this BRAND..I HOPE,someone could enlightened me..TNX!.

yash, 24 Jan 2012over all it is a nice phone but i am facing a problem with ... morekeep the display brightness to the bare minimun during night time and increase it to the optimum level where u can see the screen clearly in the day time. one more option, if u keep the sync on all the time, dont do that as it will consume alot of battery. keep the sync off and on it whenever required only.

Listen, OTU program is program for upgrading software o phone, his version has nothing to do with upgrading the phone, the new version is only slightly more stable, but still full of bugs on W7 64 bit. Alcatel has announced an upgrade for all providers of February 13th. Currently, only Russia have the upgrade. It depends on your provider, not of the program, and Alcatel. Upgrade to a GB is here, your provider must ,,buy it''. at 13 February, we all get update. Sorry for my bad English.

Nope, Skype doens't work. Video calling is not supported on Froyo. Hope GB will bring good news. Coming to all providers at february 13.

enjoyed it 4 almost 2 weeks..lost it when it slipped outtah my pocket of my polo shirt at the middle of a strait riding a ro-ro ship..big splash on the water..ha ha! that was my android fone on the water man! with the earphone on it.. i just frooze on the spot.. wtf! wtf! wtf! now i got 918n to enjoy..
