Adi, 08 Jan 2012The Gingerbread 2.3.4 update is out. Problem is that server... morewhat do u mean by "if supported by service provider " what service provider ?
and if 1 phone can be updated why not all others ?
i tryed it and it got me 2.2 , and not 2.3 !!
arent all the phones the same .. why not having the update !!!???!

Excellent phone, easily comparable with much more expensive ones.
Very nice interface
The disadvantage is its battery, it does'yt last so long.
Also camera is really bad.
Although,I am very satisfied by it's features!

The Gingerbread 2.3.4 update is out. Problem is that servers are so slow it fails have the time. Some have reported success but for some reason Android Market has been removed.

Now we have developed software to upgrade one touch 990 from Android 2.2 to android 2.3, but not all one touch 990 can be upgraded; it depends on requirement from service provider.
You can try to use one touch upgrade at that moment. If your phone Android version isn't update after the upgrade, then it means your phone doesn't support"

This phone does everything I need it to do...its great. I would like the predictive text dictionary as the added dictionary is very, very small and if you text a lot this can be a disadvantage

I bought it and i think it is ok for that money. I have it 1 week and it works fine. We will see for how long:)
Camera is bad, I would like more main memory but it is fine for now:)

The trackpad is NOT optical. But this cell has a GorillaGlass display, proximity sensor and very poor memory for applications.
