I have 991d (dual sim). Just visit alcatel site and download the new update. Makes it very fast it is like i bought a new phone today. No lags no nothing. Tha only bad think is the small memory but thats life !!!

Escarlet~, 26 Jan 2013where can i find that so called "Free Memory" but... moreyou can find the Free Memory button when you try to install an app thats too big for the amount of space you have left, like when an app is 10MB in size, and you only have 4MB storage remaining. Thats when u get the error, and the Free Memory button

you can do some things to make this phone better,first root it you have guide on youtube and google,then unninstall gmail and all other apps you dont need,then you will have about 60mb free,then partition your sd card (for example I have 8gb sd card and I partition it so now I have 4gb for apps and 4gb for music and photos)now I have about 35-40 apps on my alcatel.the application you need to use is link2sd.just search in google you will find everything ;))))

The phone work very slowly.because operating memory is only 150 mb.I have root 991 the max same place that I was able to root after release is 96 mb.Skype and facebook loaded phone very.Alcatel hope to take lessons and do more such phones!

mags, 03 Jan 2013how do i save apps on the sd card phone memory keeps comin ... morewhen you get the error about not enough storage, click on Free memory. Then you click on an app, then choose Move to SD card. It won't move the app in its entirety for functionality purposes but a good portion of it will be moved so you can download and install more.

Tea, 18 Nov 2012This phone is really good for its price and i don't regret ... morei agree... for the money, its a good pick. yes , it could use more memory but when you go to manage the applications you can move most of the app data/size to the SD card.
