No - the camera is a negative point at C825. the photos are not very good...(I know - just 1,3 MP, - but there are other phones with a 1,3 MP Cam - and they take better photos).

my phone is very interesting the look of it is classy but not pricey coz i got it for PhP7,890. All features are useful & genius, save for the keypad it's not that ergonomically functional i guess i will be having a long time to get used to it (hope i will not suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome), response time is somehow not that jiffidy fast, i prefer & fix my network setting to manual mode, it helped to conserve battery, i use my phone as a camera, a mp3 player & for gaming, though i still turn to my NgageQD for gaming I am learning to be very in love with this gizmo because it is eye catching.

D, just go and buy this phone, for the price you are paying for it, no regrets :) This is my first taste of the "new" T/A phone and i like what i am seeing. There's an interview with the president of T/A in one of the website i've given you, and the future is indeed interesting for T/A. just for kicks, here's my list of previous phones : 1)Alc OT Gum, 2)OT 301, 3)OT 501, 4)OT 511, 5) OT 556, 6) OT-C825

D, as THWS mentioned, the quality of the handset is good for the price you are paying for it, but there's a slight "looseness" to the sliding mechanism when closed. But i had sampled my friend's more expensive (and boring) Nokia slider, it has the same slight looseness, so i reckon it's normal.

@D:
Slider looks like Samsung - very good quality!
The loudness and quality of the speaker is very good too - not so good as S853, but you've to remember: S853 has got 3 speakers, C825 only one ;)

and how about construction of slider? looks durable or like kids toy?
And what about built in handsfree, or speakers for mp3? 853 plays very loud and i like it :D

Hi D
Great, you got the links. If you don't play mp3 or video too much, the battery can last around 5 days of average use.

Don, thank you for info. Well i have 853 almost one year, its perfect but it has several bugs. But i love Alcatel. I am deciding to obtain another Sim so therefore this will be exactly what i need. In europe it costs only 170 euro. Do you know where i can find any videos of this fon, i want to see in action? thx

So it means that this phone does not have "factory reset" option as OT S-853 does.

Does this phone automatically capture words from inbox, outbox and from anything you type in the phone and store them in the dictionary? Does it have dictionary off option? Also, does ###847# works in this phone?

Hi D
If you are familiar with an Alcatel phone, then it poses no problems on the interface front. Battery life is good, but with intensive use of Mp3, it shortens considerably. The screen is great for the price. Quality is the best i've ever seen on a Alcatel. What i don't fancy is the ergonomics, as the keypad feels strange. The software is also not great. If you already had a OTS853, you would not get a lot of extra from buying this phone
