Seriosly considering buying the C825 or the T608 as i am bored with my OT556. but can't find anybody stocking it (i'm in Malaysia)

hot damn..only for Chinese markets? That's too bad coz Alcatel still needs to expand their mid-range and high-end range. The T-series are kinda mysterious though, saw quite a few shops selling the OTT710 but it never appeared on the official website

Hi! I am a user of OT-C825 and the bluetooth is working ok for data transfer plus external memory can handle up to 2gig.

The new T500 series is a mid range phone intended for China... the T608 that is available as of now in Asia is still under consideration for Europe.

T608 is available in the asian market now - so it's not longer a prototype

I've seen pictures of both the OT-T520 and OT-T608. Extreamly cool looking phones, hopefully they are really going to put those into production and not just prototypes

That bluetooth description is taken from the previous S853 model... just as the camera description it is identical to the S853... so I would not take that to serious... wait for the final units to arrive!

Look at the HOmepage of Alcatel www.my-onetouch.com
Click at the Bluetooth-button then you can read that only hands free will work.
I hope that this is only a error on the website...

The versions that were shown in Barcelona did have fully functional bluetooth... where is this information coming from that it does not work?

I feel exactly the same way H.B. I am always happy with my Alcatels... and they always stood out in terms of design... not to mention reception quality... It is nice to hear that there are still some sane people in this world!

been reading thru alcatel site they have got sum interesting fones and the childish junk written on hear is just idiocy.This fone is bang up to date and if nokia had brought this out you be singing its praises.I think alcatel started mainly doing wat phones should do and thats make calls but some of their kit is gorgeous just looking at the ot 835 i think with its silver play ff rew buttons and 2.1 sound,,its a classy fone but these other firms never stand a chance with silly comments,,and ive come from the nokia bandwagon of bug ridden fones to a simpler fone an s/e w610 and im joining a whole new bunch of people fed up with the top dogs getting the glory wen in real life they are churning out the fones that should be in the bins of supermarkets..ITS a refreshing change to wander into other manufacturers sites and i bet every single alcatel does wat it says and does not crash or have to have constant upgrades to survive

Just read about this mobile in my "WHAT MOBILE" magazine an it looks impressive an suppose to be a very good music mobile,but a extra memory card will be either with it or you will have to buy on ,an it says £70 prepay an i am sure it will get Alcatel a decent name for its self if its reliable,lets hope an see when its released
