Marius the re-celler is the chain shops 2be,with chain I mean 2be have their shops all over the country,but my information about this release within 2 weeks is not 100% sure. But also is sure that in small shops in Sofia for example the phone will be here,or is already here,I will see that soon,the price will be surely very low,and this is realy nice.. I asked internet shops here and some of them said that soon will recieve a lot of new phones including s853:)

I read in the specifications about a Remote Control. Can anyone who already has this phone tell me something about this so called feature?

I'm not familiar with Alcatel phones so I want to know if you click the yes button, are you able to see a list with the made, received and missed calls together or you can see only the made calls - like in the case of the most Nokia phones. And for the other two categories you must search in the menu the Calls Log. It's important for me to know this. Thank you.

MPU Your problem with the card is strange indead.. Everywhere is said that supports 1gb cards.. Maybe it's from your card or the firmware of the model.. or deffect.. Ask some others that have s853,or ask in the market,from whom you bought it.

The phone does NOT support the 1 GB card.
Actually it reads only the first 318 MBs of it :)
Alcatel 853 supports 512 MB, it has 495 MBs of effective space.
That's the way the cookie crumbles :)

I found it in the phone's manual

In the first pages it's written alot about SAR,there is and the amazing low amount,two even three times less than most other phones. In my country(Bulgaria) in next 1 week will be available the phone in 400levs(200euro) The best choice for this price.. at the same time se w800 is ~320euro here. The difference is big,the s853 is cool.. I will just harden my impressions from it when the phone come:)

I've read the user's guide and so it should be possibly to rewind the videoplaying - but I am not sure.

I did not find a possibility to tune 3D sound, but you can either to switch it on or off.
Actually, the subwoofer is noticable. Not like the subwoofer for 100 Euros, but noticable.
