I owned this phone in malaysia for more than 1 month now. Me & my bro mnazam has post many comments in this forum since we bought the phone -starting from 19/2/2006.We will not make further long comment,so you can read from the previous forum. I also make some comment + post few megapixel + vga camshot in malaysia's website- www.mobile88.com , just go to the site & go to phone gallery> alcatel> OT S853> comment& camshot.

A question to all owners of OT S853
I'm really interested at these phone but PROTEL doesn't sell it at the moment (april maybe).
Do you write a text about the phone? A real phone-test with pictures from the mobile phone, the camera, your opinions,...
That would help me much more to wait this long time....

I have looked on that page and can't find any pcsuite for this phone model!There is a whole list of phones where you can download the stuff, just not for this model!
Or, is the suite generic and applicable for all models?!

I have just got the phone and the bloody PC Suite software doesn't load on my laptop!! Tried everything - does anyone know where to download the latest version of PC Suite for this phone? Email if you do.....i don't fancy inputting the 323 names & numbers i've got in my old phone!!!
Help......someone, please!!

But i think it depends on the country you buy it, what size of memorycard is included, because i read a review in france, there they wrote about a sd card with only 64mb...

~9Mb phone memory available for user at 1st time, well you can delete some more unused pict/video/ringtone to get more memory.

Why s853 at wapzon.com have only 6mbites of shared memory rather than 10?
