I really waited for ot-s853 since may 2005, until todate i still not change my old one since my next new phone will be alcatel ot-s853. Anyway since some expected to be in September..well today is already september..hope mydeam will come true..someone i really need it so damn hard...please keep it real.....

Hope they will design more phone like ot656, dun design those heavy weight phone like nokia do now day all 110g above some even more then 170g how do a guy put in the pocket

I would like to have it too, just think of what super hyper phone could Alcatel and Sagem make working together. their origin is the same so join and make super hyper sonic phone which will drive everyone crazy!!!!!!!!!! by the way I heard that Sagem and Alcatel wanted to work together so Dudes, what are u waiting for?! if only mine desdign of cellphones could bring them inspiration........... in conclusion this phone is cool :)

between Samsung D600 and Alcatel OT-S853 mention below, i will choose the alcatel because price are much cheaper accessories also

This is the best phone I have come across so far. Can anyone tell me when this phone will be available? I heard that that TCL and Alcatel have merged, It's a bit worrying - The availability and/or the quality of the phone !!!

This comes nowhere near Samsung D600, only maybe the sound reproduction (because of 2.1). Screen resolution, memory, GPRS Data speed, design, overall quality are not as nearly as good as the D600.

DON`t MISS THIS PHONE.it is the best quality sound and beter than any mobile phone or pda speaker! 2.1 stereo speaker is the revolution for mobile phone speaker. TRUST ME

According to reports, TCL will launch these phones sometimes around september. Alcatel's mobile phone division had been absobed into TCL's. And they will jointly develop Alcatel-branded phones. Go to tclcom.com to find out the structure

i like using Alcatel phone but i been waiting for the Alcatel Egde Enable phone almost 1 year already, and i using a Digi(hight speed data broadband) that need a Edge enable phone and it said 1st Quater until now already 3rd Q , why? i still buy this buy

Most People think Alcalel is no good, but you compare this phone to any on the market and see the difference what a feature packed phone nothing compares. I just wish they will release this phone in Australia.
