for the people who want to buy one,
Just don't
Buy a sagem, a little more expensive but it has the same quality of a nokia for a lower price.
I know 3 people who got an alcatel the 735i the 565 and the 332.
The camera's are really bad, the screen is impossible to read in the sun, one of them cant send mms (the 735i but it des support mms), one of them cant go on wap ( the 332 but it does support wap) and one of them has a camera with the worst picures ever (the 565 allthough the camera has the same specs as my sagem myv-55 but my pictures are 10 times better)
Alcatels are to cheap, they just don't work properly.
So spend a few extra $ on a sagem My x-8 or a sagem my v76, they are quality phones for a low price.
Just my 2 cents

i think that the 2.1 Stereo Surround Sound will be the most important thing for this phone!!!

cool! 256k color display + mp3 player + bluetooth + 1m carema + radio + memory card slot can support 1gb... and wt. -100g

yeah ok it could extend up to 1 gb but still nokia n91 hosts 5gb onboard memory and expandable memory slot for n91 goes up to 1 gb so in total the nokia n91 memory comes up to 6gb

i will repeat for "n" time - The phone has miniSD slot up to 1GB!!! who cares about the inside memory.

Man this mobile could have evrything i there but it stil has got the 1.3 mega pixel this year the mobiles would be comin with 2 mega pixel cameras and more the memory as well its no that good 10 mb comon it needs to have more then that u could only put 3 mp3s at max while the nokia N91 has 5 GB memory on board

ohh....can't wait to see it in the market...need to change my hp ..but have to wait for the release of it in malaysia.
Looks the design ok...but the important is the specification quite impressive...so need to buy if when it coming here.

hey A.A.Tay thanks for the information on the Alcatel/TCL e797 it has everything i need hopefully it is released soon. just a pity it doesn't have fm radio.

yeah the ultimate Mobile Phone !!! but the other people are blind and can't understand this! Look at its specs ! It has everything !!! go for the "phone finder in the page and set all to max. tech! and only Alcatel S853 appears. Make your conclusion on that !!!!! and add the reliability of the brand Alcatel and many other suff you get the ultimate Phone ever made :)
get it and you be the the different and the best. forget the popular and boring k750 and the selfish Nokia.
