Nice Phone... But are the speakers really 2.1? Or will it be just like the Motorola E398 ones (which is also a great phone)... Can I Have an idea about how much it will cost, plz...

Hello Alcatel...Can u tell us the date of release and the price?
And for those who want to buy 6230i.DON'T DO IT.I saw it today and is a piece of...Silly than 6230. With a slowest menu and other big bugs...beah,will be the disillusion of the year.Better wait for OT-S853 or K750.

I've been buying Alcatel phones since 1998. I Truly believe they are the best phones. Can't wait to get my hands on the new OT-S853

wow !!! owesome ... l must have this "monster" ... if the chairman's of alcatel.com review their marketing directions and maybe these phone wi'll appear soon'es is possible and in EAST EUROPE!l mean in ROMANIA (we have 9 milion gsm users) and keep growing fast /'GENTELMEN' ... big market and you can ceck this info !!!!!! ask our gsm providers o....e and c....x !!!

Great phone from a reliable brand.
One problem however it's not iet for sale and
when it arrives to market better phones will be already on sale.
That's always the same with alcatel - promises...promises.

Hi Frenz,
If this fone has 2 beat SE w800, then it shud be launched early in order to make the customers aware that its got better features compared to w800 and at 1/2 the price.
I beleive that except the 2MP cam, evrything in this beats the SE W800 left n right ;-)

From the available info in the net this phone truly rocks! Looks rock solid in engineering design. Functions ARE THE MOST COMPLETE! TCL-Alcatel has indeed blended well the best technologies developed by the other brands and fused it well into the S853! I'm a proud and happy owner of the 735 and the best of the moment 756! Looking forward for the S853's availability in Manila,Philippines. Mabuhay TCL-Alcatel and may your new line of phones reach our shores not long after the global release!
