Is there a chance one day the S853 will got software update that unlocks Full bluetooth??? I am still hoping one day will have. Maybe Alcatel or hackers will develop this feature...

but my friend in my place has an ot-c701...the flip phone that plays mp4 and also is very nice...another one was the ot-v770...my gf has it and it was a good one...but maybe you are looking for phones that alcatel hasnt done yet...maybe look for the specs before buying...maybe that way you will find your faved phone...

This phone is interesting. First good phone made by Alcatel, other Alcatel mobile phones are zero.

ok here is the latest...
i have now a new mini sd card...i cant have a phone in my neighborhood that uses mini sd so i dont have the chance to check if the card was defective or not...and it shows it is the memory card thats defective...i bought another memory card and my phone is now working very well...it is now back to its shape...thank heavens...

i took out my mini sd now...and my phone has become the most ordinary of all phones...though it still worked as a phonme...hehehe...hope ivan and nelson can help me...

i got another problem with my phone...
it cannot detect my memory card...
what i did is i reset my phone, and reformat my memory card...well as of the moment it is going well...hope it will last or i will send it for repair which means a month plus without my baby phone...i have no regret, only that it pisses me off that a phone well pampered was having this problems...well i know now the problem and guys pls dont do this...
never install anything unsupported by your phone in your memory card or in your phone...and as nelson said, pls never delete anything on the memory using your phone...delete them using the pc...

well guys i already know how to fix my problem about my micro SD card with mini adapter. If anyone uses a Micro with Mini SD adapter this is how to fix it.. when the time if your Micro SD with Mini adapter cannot read it to the phone remove the micro SD with Adapter and replace it with Mini SD wait until it's ok and then remove the Mini SD and put back again the Micro SD and it will be readable again.

keenen, 23 Nov 2008there ias one phone that has almost the same sound quality ... moresorry, I'm not agree with you, in my office I'm sitting next to a lady who use n73, I and She both agree that OT-S853 sound quality cannot beat by N73 sound quality.. it's about 9/10 point for OT-S853 and 7/10 for N73, nokia louder but too weak in treble..

there ias one phone that has almost the same sound quality as s853...it is the nokia n73...the only difference is that the nokia n73 has a louder sound... but both have 3D and stereo surround sound... the only thing the s853 has edge over the n73 is the price....3 to 4 s853 for one n73
