Maybe they are not compatible with the phone. I experienced that at some games, too.
Now, am I the only one with just 8.5MB internal memory? I'm beginning to think that I got one of the lower end models, if there's such a thing. Can this be a valid reason for me to get my phone exchanged with another OT-S853? :(

Gigel:
Please don't say "be glad" to anybody who have lost something valuable. It's not good. If you're really an Alcatel fan you should be loyal to this at all times. Of all alcatel mobile phones this is the only one that has bugs and the rest don't have much problems as this. If OT S860 in the future will still have this kind of problem then you may leave alcatel and go to another brand that cost you so much. Remember, this is the first alcatel phone of this kind and there's no perfect phone here. No, not even nokia or samsung.

To Knight Rider:
By the way, my java games are launched directly from the card, so it's no need for transferring them into the phone's memory.
To mramzi:
Once I had some problems regarding the card formatting. I tried to format it in the PC, then - in the phone. And things worked fine.
To Ali:
Sorry about your phone. The same way I lost my Alcatel OT Easy db, then it fell off my belt, as I used to attach it there. From that time I never do that :)

Bart: You do not need any software (other than the phones own included software) to install the games to your phone. You just but the games on the memory card and then from there you transfer them in the application/games memory of the phone and you are good to go.
Now as for the other problem... You should try and reformat the card in the phone... if that won't work try and reformat it in a different device (a PC-card reader or a digital camera) if that won't work then you should go back to the store where you got the memory card or if you got the card included with the phone you should contact the memory card producer, because depending of the brand of the memory card you have (with some manufacturers) a year (or even more) warranty. Like for instance SanDisk has a 5 year warranty on the 256 mb Mini-SD card
