This is a great little phone (offered by Safelink Wireless in California--the famed "Obama Phone") compared to the Coolpad 3300a (another "Obama Phone") that Assurance Wireless offers. Even though the specs of the Pixi 3 and the Coolpad 3300a are nearly identical, the quality of the Pixi 3 is much better. The Pixi 3 is much more responsive, the camera (2MP just like the Coolpad) is of higher quality, and it includes some features not found in the Coolpad 3300a, such as GPS and an FM radio; in all it's just a snappier phone. I could tell the difference between the two right away.
The only thing I dislike about the Pixi 3 is the size. It's smaller than the Coolpad 3300a by about 1/2", but what it lacks in size the Pixi 3 makes up for in quality.
Anyway, you can't beat free ;)

My new pixi 3.5 keeps telling me that the time and date are wrong, so I can't access wsap very frustrating, as they are both correct.

When I receive a phone call, it rings but the lcd will take a minute to show me the answer option and the other party will have hanged up along timw ago. I've tried best apps such as du speed, clean master to move installed files to memory card, but the option is not there, this phone ruins my day everyday. I regret buying it.

Good things about this device:
1)Loud speaker
2)Nice animations, nice theme
3)Clear enough screen for 4 inches
4)Durable
Negative things about this device:
1)Extremely slow
2)Poor battery life
3)Too many bugs in firmware
4)Cheap feeling
5)Cheap design
6)Terrible camera with poor menu and not strong flashlight, that flashes at the wrong time when taking photos
I am really disappointed with this device.

selwyn, 29 Jul 2016howcan i connect to my comp used cable but no connection a message should come up on the phone to mount the usb and then after mounting the phone you can then choose to transfer files or just usb charge

I'd appreciate it better if my phone could recall already stored numbers on my phone and allow me choose whether to install on my phone memory or on the external storage card

cos your device is come with 4GB of internal storage which is divided into
2GB for android system and 2GB for user,and that means that there is not enough
internal memory which can not be upgraded with the sd card.
just to know, 5.0 lolipop it's no ordinary update
first uninstall KitKat os, and then install a completely new android 5.0 lolipop
and this process takes 3-6 hours because its size
follows;
Android 5.0 (ignoring the SD card) consists of the following 3 partitions:
1. mmcblk0p23, for System, 2.9GB
2. mmcblk0p24, for Cache, 1.0GB
3. Swap, 1.2GB (equivalent to the Windows "virtual memory" file, for instance)
Their sum is 2.9 + 1.0 + 1.2 = 5.1GB
Android 5.0 is 5.1GB if you use these "default" partition sizes.
This means that you need at least 8GB of internal memory to nstall 5.0 lolipop
