Yeah it has an update i downloaded it but can't install . i think because the clockwork mod recovery i will download the stock ROM again to remove it and try again. And i am very happy of this step from Alcatel . hope this update will be good

If you want you can install different ROMS on this phone.
Search for its model name on cyanogenmod forums.

Firmware's recent system update has an error on installation. I've downloaded the file sveral times, whenever I try to install it says an error after less than a minute.
Any chance it will be fixed? After all the fails it keeps me sending notifications I should download it again. (It COULD DO with an update, anyways...)

There are indeed different versions: 4033A, 4033X, 4033D, 4033E. Two have a front camera, two don't. Alcatel, this is not consumer-friendly. If the model is called Pop C3, I expect it to be available in only one version. If one version is missing a feature, then call it a different model, something like C4 or so.

I do not really like this phone. First of all, it always hang and applications crash. Second, you cannot install more than 20 applications. But for a basic phone this is good enough. Not the best phone I have been using. :( So disappointed.

This is my phone now, I love everything about it except for it's camera, the camera is really not good. It doesn't look 3.15mp or 5mp for me.
