Alleged Nokia 7.1 Plus visits TENAA for certification
Finally some solid info on how the upcoming Nokia 7.1 Plus would look like as well as some juicy details about the specs. This one comes from TENAA and confirms the back design we saw a few days ago.
It's hard to tell whether the handset has a notch or not from the TENAA photos so yesterday's mystery remains largely unsolved. Then again, according to the specs sheet, the Nokia X7 (7.1 Plus) comes with a 6.1-inch panel featuring 1080 x 2246 pixels resolution hinting at a wide notch on the top of the display.
Further down, the table reads an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz, which could very well mean Snapdragon 710 chipset. The SoC is paired with either 4GB/64GB or 6GB/128GB of memory with support for microSD cards. The camera setup on the back consists of a 12MP sensor coupled with a 13MP one that appears to be identical to the Nokia 7 Plus' setup. As for the selfie cam, the front notch houses a 20MP unit.
The phone is powered by a 3,400 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Since the device has gone through TENAA's certification process, it won't be long before it gets released and we will finally get to see it in the flesh.

Me too. The 7 is great and really hope the successor would have been a bit smaller. would have made a solid little power house. 150mm even would be ok.. ah ! one day .. to add to the possible disappointment, it seems the 9 will have a curved front ...
