While I haven't used it for 2-ish years and disabled it because I forgot the passcode, it's definitely operating fine in terms of turning on and updating. I'm restoring it now, haha. The only thing is that Apple no longer offers support for it. They wouldn't have been able to help me undisable it because it's obsolete tech. I think I remember it being a little laggy the last time I used it, but still completely operational.

            Ah yes, the device that got me addicted to Minecraft. The memories. Used to play on 0.12-1.0 versions, they ran fine iirc. I don't know about modern versions though. This aspect ratio is perfect for Bedrock/MCPE imo

                            This iPad is really only good if you happen to have a keyboard for it and do these following tasks:

                            1) FaceTime, tho the camera sucks though. It wasn’t even all that fantastic in 2011.

                            2) email. Tho keep in mind that sometimes, legit email will get sent to your junk mail & unless if I’m missing something, junk mail won’t get sent to the iPad’s email client. Regular email works fine tho.

                            3) iMessage still works on it.

                            4) older games that haven’t gotten an compatibility update past iOS 10.

                            That’s pretty much it unless if you count typing on your note pad as a task.
