I bought it on January 2015, never let me down. Blazing fast until today, newer let me down! Wouldn't upgrade to newer models because their stupid camera bump! Most beautiful design ever for a tablet.

But generally it's not recommended to drain lithium-ion batteries completely. Its usually best to keep your battery percentage between 10% and 90%.

After 1 year my ipad 2 128G bent badly. I should just buy a new one. I took it to an Apple dealer but they said it can't be fixed and that I should buy a new one.
But because it was still working perfectly, I kept it and continued to use it daiy. Now, another year later, the ipad just switched off and couldnt be switched on again. I took it back to the repair shop and they checked it, saying it's not charging. Again they offered to sell me a new one at a discounted price. i took it home abd tried to switch it on every day. After the 3rd day it came back on with the "out of battery" sign. It worked perfectly for 2 weeks, but now it's dead again. Could it be the battery? Please give me some advice.
I cant afford to buy a new one and all my work is on that ipad.

I'm curious why you said try not to let the battery drain to 0, is it bad to do? Apple used to recommend doing it monthly on their website but I think they deleted that bit. Do you think it's bad to do a 100 to 0 discharge and then charge back to 100 for calibration purposes?

I was in doubt between air2 and 9.7 2017. Display on 2017 is not laminated. Like on cheap chinese tablets. Didnt want unlaminated display in 2017. year. It is huge downgrade. Heavier, etc.. upgrade is ipad pro..
next year i will go for pro one. Until then air 2 is good enough.

i own ipad air2 for 2 years, it works great! amazing device, battery still last long time, perfect time to buy it 2nd hand these days!

I bought it in November 2016 and it was a great product. No scratches whatsoever. :)
