Hi i'm asking if it is worth buying the ipad air 2 in half on 2017 despite there's a new 10.5 one? I found out that new pro is quite expensive. $310 for 32GB is worth or not? Thanks

                Anonymous, 11 Apr 2017Apple says that the battery life of iPad Air 2 is 10 hours.... moreThen you have a serious battery issue. I recommend taking it to your local Apple Store and tell them about the issue. Chances are, they'll swap it out for a new one. There's no way you would have that type of battery life unless you were playing high end games the entire time.

                        Apple says that the battery life of iPad Air 2 is 10 hours. But In my opinion, the battery life is probably more than 5 hours (100% to 10%).

                              I've been using my iPad Air2 Wi-Fi, Cell Data, 64 gig storage model now going on 2 years. It's still totally dependable with not a single failure other than an occasional non apple app crash, which is totally normal. Also, my battery life seems to be as good as the day I purchased it. Here is my situation, I use it at work 5 days a week 10hrs.per day, with settings set to never shut off.( also at home after work and weekends to surf the net, email, songwriting, etc.) I then connect an Apple lightning to VGA connector w/ a lightning port on the VGA side for charging, the VGA connects to a 30" monitor.( BTW this is an Apple adapter that although seems expensive at around $40, it works perfectly! Every knockoff brand I've tried failed) I also connect a stereo 1/8" to 1/8" male cable from the headphone port into a Rolls MX41B Stereo 4 Channel 1/4 & 1/8 Mixer as I also have a laptop going into a channel of the mixer as well as a cheap Bluetooth receiver to yet another channel, then out to a pair of Fostex powered audio monitors and an old Labtec powered sub woofer. I use two 30" video monitors mounted side by side, one dedicated to the iPad the other set up with my lap top. This situation works splendidly. I must say though, I do keep an eye on the battery level of the iPad. I'm always sure to unplug the charger when at 100% and will reconnect charger at various points of discharge whenever I happen to notice it below say 50% or so. I do make a point to not charge iPad at any regular interval. I always try to switch up, be it charge from 75% one day, 25% the next, never charge at a specific time or percentage consitantly. Basically, in my experience, I've found that all of my lipo cell powered items battery's last much longer when I keep them guessing at when they will be charged. But, try not to ever let the battery die totally! It can recover from this occasionally but, try not to let this happen. So, now I've upped the game, added a 12" Apple Mac air, my trusty iPhone 6s 16g, an Iwatch, and at home I have a 4th gen Apple TV. I must say these were not all purchased at once! "Baby steps" I didn't want to be known as a "fanboy" but these items work so perfectly together I can't help but praise Apple for making such robust dependable tools. Also, I subscribe for extra iCloud space, as my phone is only 16g and Mac air is 128g SSD, iPad 64g. I have 50gigs of iCloud space, which costs 99 cents per month, after close to 2 years I have 40gigs still free on it! How do they make all of these tools work so well and fast? With hardware specs that are laughable when compared to any Windows unit, Apple still seems to blow their doors of with performance. Apple, they are definitely not cheap, but like they always say, "You get what you pay for" I'm team Apple for as long as I can afford to be. Thank you for making it to the end of my opinion!

Be mindful when looking to buy any iPad cover/case, that this detail is included. This tiny detail is very important for battery longevity, data security, over heating, etc... I'm always on the go and it is extremely important to know that when I close the top cover of my iPad Air 2, it shuts off/goes to sleep immediately. Keep in mind, the case does not have to be an actual Apple branded case, but must say somewhere in the specs. "Supports Apple asleep/wake function" or words to the same meaning. You can also set the asleep/wake function, if you don't have the case, via;
                                settings, Display & Brightness, Auto-Lock , you can set various time outs etc. I hope this helps you!
