I would like to ask if it is possible to use the IPad Mini 2 as a cellphone? I can call anyone without using any special apps that links to the internet? I have unli call in my phone plan and I want to buy iPad Mini 2 with LTE if it has phone capabilities.

iPad mini 2 if you like mobility / price
but in any case.. buy 128gb. Most worth for money! 16 to 64gb are junk and is worse then throwing your money away.

I'm a heavy gam... morehi, if you want play games without controller on high settings for 2 years go for ipad mini 2, if you want play games with controller go for ipad air, BUT if you are heavy gamer and you dont care graphics go for note 2014 for 3-3.5 years. but in all ways ipad air good (expert says ipad mini 2 has screen burning problems)

Instagram is iphone app. You have to select show iphone app to download. Then you get to run it in x2 mode.. (bordered .. not really nice)

IMO, the ipad mini 2 will have "great battery life" as 23.8watt = 6400+ mah..!!
which is way larger than nexus 7 2013 (3950mah). Also the nexus 7 already has above average battery life for its hd screen....

it so cool, the skype abd camera is so clear. It so handy. Ios 7 is the best. the only thing is that i cant see intagram on this. Do you know where can I get instagram on ipad mini 2 ? Please thank you.

Best to save and buy the highest storage model, the 128gb, if you are planning to keep the device for long. Else pick the lowest for resale value.
16 -> 32 -> 100$ for 16gb more
32 -> 64 -> 100$ for 32gb more
64 -> 128 -> 100$ for 64gb more
16gb -> 33$ per GB
32gb -> 20$ per GB
64gb -> 11$ per GB
128gb -> 6$ per GB

I don't understand why Androids do not use the same aspect ratio, rather they use 16:9 or 16:10-these will make their devices look much longer relative to its width, portrait mode is awkward. I compared the screen area of ipad mini vs LG G Pad 8.3, and the difference is just a sq. inch although G Pad 8.3 has longer screen diagonal, the reason is that it has aspect ratio of 16:10 compared to Ipad's 4:3.
Difference = (10*16)(8.3^2)/356-(7.9^2)*0.6*0.8 = 1 sq . in.
But ipad mini is a bit wider allowing you to see more view of a document in a portrait mode which the most comfortable for reading, since you can hold with one hand easily.
But the best advantage of Androids especially G Pad 8.3 is that you can bump the memory to 16GB+64 GB(microSD) total and you can use any USB cable out there to charge or access your device. And btw, it is USD350 vs USD400 Ipad Mini 2 16GB.
Another advantage of LG G Pad 8.3 is that it is narrower by almost a centimeter making it more handy pocketable.

half the price of this tablet is invested on the mark on its back. Techwise, it's even lagging with todays standards. Apple has transformed into just a mean fashion accessory.

However, the iPad mini 2 is a more premium product. Browsing on the internet is going to be a much better experience with the iPad mini 2 as well. Both devices have great displays as far as ppi goes. However, I dig the 7.9 inch screen over the 7 inch. You might as well get a large phone rather than a nexus 7. The iPad mini 2 is also going to be more responsive. As far as speed, they will be about the same. The 64 bit may seem impressive but the iPad mini 2 isn't optimized for that power. So it won't take advantage of the power that the A7 chip offers. It will still be a very very fast device. Of course one big factor is the operating system that you prefer. I prefer iOS 7. It's easy to use and has some cool features. At the end of the day, it's your choice.
