they are not the same in display size and battery power ... but I'm agree, it's better than iPad air

Assume scaling screen size equals to battery consumption and the SoC draining is similar for all 3 devices.
iPhone 5s rating = 5.96 /4 = 1.49
iPad mini 2 rating = 23.8 / 7.9 = 3.01266
iPad air rating = 32.4 / 9.7 = 3.34026
Given iPhone 5s endurance rating from gsmarena 54hr
iPad mini 2 rating should be 109 hr
iPad air rating should be 121 hr

is not 290 euro because it will be launched with 399$ so is about 350 euro. i really didn't expect at retina display and at a7 chip. i think that is a better choise than ipad air with the same specs and better price.

Clearly, nobody would want the Air, as same specs. Their are plenty of android 4:3 ratio devices, like the Archos 80 titanium for instance. The bargain priced nook HD+ has a retina quality display for a fraction of the price of ipad .The nexus 10 is better value too. Prior to real tablet apps on Google Play iOS was a good deal, now it's close to a dead duck sadly.
