This device is a taunting from Tim Cook.
It is Tim Cook's idea of saying: What?? You do not like U2's performance in iPhone 6 event?? HERE take iPad mini 3 with last year's chip.. see how you like it!
iPad mini lovers might get hurt and scold Tim Cook is gay.. but guess what... he admits it already...
Sorry, i still trying to understand why iPad mini is using A7 chip instead of A8 chip. Even the Wifi is still using N.. not ac.

u cant compare ios spec with andro spec.
ios requre lower spec, therefore... high spec andro equal to low spec ios.. it's common knowledge if u already use both os.

IOS isn't boring anymore, Android isn't either but the new integration between iOS and OSX is awesome, so convenient. I ended up spending $4000 to swap over to Apple. I still want to be up to date on Android though. Lollipop looks kind of cool.

why comparing ios to your andoird? they have both different way of creating their OS base on platform. for android they created it using java and by using this platform they have to use higher specs to make their OS smooth and fast but for IOS they created it under c or C++ which does not require higher specs to make their OS run faster. So basically for apple it doesnt matter how many cores you got on ur android. ideally its like 2 same car in a road with different engine but same speed. so dont effin brag about the numbers you got on your android specs. :)
