The specs of Samsung phones and tablets look good on paper. In reality, it is not good. Apple on the other hand is the opposite. Does not look good on paper, but the user experience bypass Samsung. Good specs only good for marketing purposes. OS is more important than the hardware. Keep in mind folks.

Apple is smart. Ipad mini 3 specs are the same as ipad minin 2. Few minor upgrades to make new models. Same for mini 4! Consumers actually fall for this marketing strategies. Just upgraded from mini 1 to mini 2. Only ignorant consumers buy mini 3.

GSMArena is playing save, and use the specs of iPhone 6 / 6 Plus with comes with the A8 with 1GB ram version.
So for those who are afraid need to wait first, see more reviews before buy.
But specs aside, When on hands-on with iPad Mini 4, they show split screen mode, all the things iPad Air 2 can do, it can do also. So there is no fear when it comes to features.

Look, I know that apple products don't need a lot of RAM but, ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! It's already 2015! Why does this only have 1GB of ram? Even my Galaxy S4 which is like 2 years old already has 2GB of ram!

How is this comparable to the Air 2 in performance? A8 vs A8X and 1GB ram vs 2GB ram ....
What they said in the keynote re: the Mini 4 is basically BS.

You think its the fastest small tablet no its very high priced with low specs ipad mini 4 very slow tablet if you tablet faster than this buy asus zenpad s8.0 faster than ipad mini4

Are you sure about only 1gb ram? I spoke to a support rep at Apple who told me it was 2gb.

Its about 35g lighter . Thats not a lot but still does matter for tablets or I will say for any touchscreen hanheld device . Lighter is always better

hmmm... Just Compared the iPad Mini 3 and iPad Mini 4.... What the difference I found:
1. Dual-core 1.5 GHz at the place of Dual-core 1.3 GHz Cyclone
2. 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels at the place of 5 MP, 2592 х 1944 pixels
3. iOS 9 at the place of iOS 8.1 --- By the who care about this as its upgradable
After 1 year apple released new product which these difference...
Where is the innovation ??
You are making fool to the people... Apple needs to look around how other companies are innovative these days...
