Hallo. Apple iPad Mini User.
i want to buy my first apple ipad. 16gb ipad mini wifi is the one within my budget/afford. i would like to know how long can the battery last for basic web browsing, video, music? would it possible to use a wireless 3g modem with this ipad? any free games,apps for ios6? thanks :)

- Beautiful design also mediorce bui... moreUmm...IOS is based off Unix not Linux for one. Two, Adobe dropped Flash support for Android so there's now choice of using it. Third, Apple products have NEVER had microSD, microUSB which means no microHDMI. Fourth, You call it a "stupid unique Apple connector" yet you forget about back in the day when ALL phones had different unique adapters. Apple stayed that way so they could monopolize and use it to their advantage.

Hi,
When I connect my ipad mini to my computer even after syncing with ipad it still says not charging & doesn't charge the ipad.
Any suggestions?? Please help!!!

Pros :
- Beautiful design also mediorce build quality
- IOs system looks as it works beautifuly on the surface, but underneath that is Linux based OS, same as Android, except the latter is for free ;).
Cons :
- Flash is by default OFF, Android gives you a choice, because Flash on certain sites can be a bit more complex and slowing for tablets, but Apple builds their smoothness of browsing through sites by permanently making Flash disabled without any option
- archaic slow processor, that gets to higher tempretures when in full load mode, same as in Ipad 2, that came out in March 2011, which is unheard of
- only 512 MB of ram is also the reason, why this tablet becomes slow, when you want to run a little bit of a concrete program on
- resolution 1024x768, come on every other tablet had that years ago and they went to higher resolutions
- 5 MP back camera, come on every phone had that 5 years ago :)
- no microSD space for extra memory
- no microUSB
- no microHDMI
- stupid unique Apple connector
- nothing is there, only 3.5" jack for phones, which is there since Ipad 2
Ipad mini is for girls and sissies, both needing something to touch sexualy. Nobody else would profit from it. This is just repacked Ipad 2, that was already archaic by hardware when it came out.
Every mini laptop or nettop from Asus, Acer, HP, Toshiba, MSI,....that came out in the last 4 years is twice the power of Ipad 4. So now you decide if this kapitalistic selling (ipad mini 16 GB is 329 E, 32 GB is 429 E, 64 GB is 529 E....) device is for you.

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2013Does anyone here knows rumors about iPad Mini 2 and its rel... morebelieve me i was thinking the same thing but i bought it and i can assure you that you cannot see a lot of difference in the screen from retina. its almost the same thing! i have put them side by side and compare them. as for the speed is super fast! i have it for 2 weeks and i use it all the time and have to say that the performance is outstanding! i just love it is a great device! whoever is torn between the new ipad and ipad mini trust me buy the mini you will love it and you will never regret it!
