And all I was pointing out is the lack of memory on iPad with no external SD and while the iPad mini has the same memory the smaller screen means people can stretch the memory out further without being forced to delete things to make space.

this device has a stone-age resolution.
Who says you cant watch low resolution videos on High res displays. Most of the tablets provide Good quality scaling so watching videos is equivalent or even better.

Just Got One query.
Will it support movies of HD which I have in my laptop of resolution 1280*720p
And can videos be played full screen because I heard that this mini has 4:3aspect ratio which is not good for viewing videos full screen. Please somebody help me before I buy this mini.

The reason why they made... moreThe good thing about having a smaller screen is you can have lower resolution videos and that takes up less memory, because on the Daddy iPad you have a really nice screen so obviously you gonna want to watch HD quality videos, but HD quickly eats up the memory and you can't just plug in an SD card or Flash Drive like almost every other tablet and keep all your videos on there to save space for other stuff on internal memory.

I think ipad mini is impractical.. The reason why they made ipad is to view the movie, picture and view gaming experience with a larger screen from our phones.. But now there'S ipad mini which is doesnt fit in the pocket and smaller screen.. So for me, id still Have my ipad 3 than a mini because of larger screen...

at my country ipad mini 16gb selling RM999 and nexus 7 16gb RM899 not much different the price so which one your prefer i buy? i am headache.....pls help...

I'm trying to activate my ipad mini and when I put my credentials (name, address, etc), I keep getting an error message saying:
"Please contact itunes support to complete this transaction"
I'm not trying to purchase anything, I'm just setting up an apple ID and installing a free app.
Please help!

Why can't I Apple just allow ipad users to be able to send text messages from them? All the hardware is there on the tabs already, i think. It's time to let ipad users get the ability to send sms messages. Almost all android tablet users are able to send text from their devices. Apple, wake up and send us a patch, please. otherwise, i'm going android
