Today I saw Lenovo Folio video, I think phablets will merge with tablets into foldable tablets i.e. A tablet that folds into a phone. And when this tech becomes stable in terms of quality and cost, Apple will do something fabulous that will combine iPad with iPhone plus.

Sure most people blame iPad is a family product.. no need updates, thus lesser need for an upgrade.
But iPad Pro offers nothing new on the plate.. except the 8 years in calling File manager app coming in the fall. Nothing new for most of the professional people.. (Pro motion.. faster pen response.. bigger screen with smaller footprint.. none of which helps the majority of pro users)
At the same time, iPad and iPad mini internals are held back in favour of the iPad Pros.. that further reduces sales.
I love iPads, i HATE to see it go. Thats why i rant about it in all channels to get awareness.. So that those silent people will vote with their money.
iPad Pro need MOUSE support, more connectivity, so that developers can come up with more Pro apps. Now iPad Pro is just a rich man's media consumption device, that will hamper sales.
Pros simply go MacBooks, or iPads. This niche in the middle of the laptop and smartphone, is getting squeeze from both sides. You have iPad Pro.. you still need Mac. SO why sink 1.5k into this?

That WE NEED MOUSE guy needs to chill out. He's taking the iPad discussion really seriously, he is active here and on the iPad 9.7 opinions. Simply, if you like a product buy it, if not then don't. Supply and demand (plus marketing efforts) are the market stimulus.

Things iPad Pro should have:
1. Voice call
2. SMS
3. Mouse
4. File manager
5. Improved connectivity, external display external drives.
And adverise as a laptop all in one replacement.
Else i do not believe its worth noticing by pro users who own a utrabook and phone. Just a very expensive iPad for media consumption.

Reading the comments on my iPad Pro 10.5 and chuckling. You guys know nothing, yet on paper you all sound so smart, discussing whether the « pros » would like the tablet or not, yet none of you are pros in anything, by the looks of it.

I k... moreWith the iPad Pro 10.5 you get 10 hours of medium usage more than any other tablet I know of including the Tab S3 and the Surface Pro at the same time it's 2 times as powerful as the Tab S3 and has a 120Hz refresh rate which goes up and down (changes) depending on the content being viewed this happens in order to save battery for example you don't need 120FPS if you're looking at an image. According to my knowledge the A10x chip in this iPad Pro is as powerful as the new Kaby Lake core i5 CPU's fron Intel however it has better grqphics on the die than the Intel HD Graphics 620 on the new core i5 die.
Conclussion: I would highly recommend the 256GB model over any other tablet on the market right now.
Pros
1. Fastest mobile display
2 . Good resell value after 2 years of usage
3. The only tablet suited for high graphic mobile gaming in 2017
4. Best RAM management on a tablet to date
5. iPhone 7 camera (one of the best cameras on the market(
6. 4K video recording
7. Best drawing experience avialable on a mobile device
8. Double the RAM of the previews generation
9. Very powerful creativity and editing applications (Affinity Photo, Pro-Create, Notability, Luma Fusion)
10. Can be updated to IOS 11
11. Very bright display (600 nits)
12. 2nd generation Touch ID (faster fingerprjnt scanning)
13. Headphone Jack (Yes it's still there)
Cons
1. Not durable (bends easily)
2. Expensive accessories
3. Most good apps are not free
4. No USB Type-C (Still uses a Lightning to USB Type-A charger)
5. No Quickcharge or other fast charging technology (lasts long but charges slowly)
6. No Micro SD card expansion (however you can buy a seperate storage device that you plug into the iPad if you want to store a lot of movies and photos and keep the built in storage just for apps)
7. Not IP68/67 certified (but again it's a tablet)
8. Software not as capable as Windows software (You can't make a video game or write a program on this iPad)
Would I buy it ? Yes I would. Should you buy it ? That's up to you however if you're a software engineer, a game designer or a 3D artist you're better off building a PC or buying a decent GTX 1050Ti laptop for $1000 however if you just want a powerful mobile gaming device with a large display that can edit photos and videos and has one of the best cameras then this might just be for you.

Anyone know the battery capacity of the iPad Pro 10.5. I know its 30.4Wh but I would like to know in milliAmperes per hour (mAh). Apple battery charging voltage has vary in the past and is not the typical 3.7V all the time. thanks

I bought one and it is fantastic. Sooo fast and so smooth! My iPhone 6s feels slow compared to this and my previous iPad mini 3 feels like a dinosaur! Screen size is much better now and the sound is excellent.

Also with this one my thumbs can reach to the middle of the screen, so it's easy and fast to write in landscape. With 12.9" it's impossible.

Three times? This was under two times and i got 256gb, Also iv been using this now for two hours and i'm blown away, definately was worth of the price, and this bigger screen was my main point to upgrade and it is great!
Also i can't believe how fast and smooth this beast is!
