I din't like the phone. Of course it is sleak and slim but on the functionalities it lacks a lot. It has only SMS and e-mail, MMS is available by a third party app. It has an average camera. It has an average battery life. I didn't like it at all and I sent it back. Right now i am into smartphones but i would not change it with a SE K850i.

do u remember when the top cellphone makers made their prototype fones? perhaps, u were surprised to see such a wonderful device that could connect u wirelessly from anywhere. think about nokia 3110 (for example) and latest nokia n96. as we have gathered vivid knowledge about the functionalities of cell fones, we make a lot of comments which may not have been made.
apple has come up with their first venture of iphone. dont u think that they knew the latest technology in 2007. yes, they knew.
a trading house always, gradually, comes out with their better products. apple did the same.
u will be surprised to see the next iphone in june 08.
if everything was included in iphone-1, then what would been left for iphone-2.
apple will make everyone the happiest with their 2nd venture. wait n see.

apparently our friendly neighourhood
gsm provider here in canadas media player only functions on windows xp so
this can lead to a conflist with having it on as a network phone too bad by the time it can fixed this will be old news great phone though

ps, one more thing, when you iphone lovers make comments on other touch devices on this site and others, please please please stop refering to them as wannabe iphone-killers. trust me, comparing them to the iphone means they are on the same level, dont degrade these new handsets by making that insinuation... iphone killers ....lol. nothing to compete against

here is another solution to the problems:
BUY A GOOD PHONE THAT ACTUALLY HAS SOME FORM OF FUNCTIONALITY OUTSIDE A PRETTY FACE.
thats all the iphone is, a pretty face, but on the inside its as shallow as the spoilt girl next door.
and before any of you apple groupies start to talk, hit the compare link and compare this fone to any other touch device released between now and 2 years ago, i assure you they will outperform this ipod that can make calls.
i cannot believe people actually let flashy advertising and brand names actually coerce them into spending so much for so little geez!
for actually functionality, samsung, toshiba and lg have released some okay handsets, i admit they dont have the good interface of the iphone, but they make up for it with functionality- proper cameras, browsing and by far superior multimedia capabilities.

i bought my 8gb iphone last week and i'm very happy with it. well the reason i bought this thing is the wifi (because it has a safari browser). even there is in the ipod touch why not settle for a complete one. i think it costs a little difference between an ipod touch 16gb to an iphone 8gb. the phone function is okay to me because the previous phone i bought that has a 3G capabilities is not so important to me. 3G=WIFI, i mean wifi feature can take all the communications needed for a phone must have. the screen display is very clear. the camera is good even it has 2MP only. not to mention the ipod function is great. imagine an ipod in a phone or if you want a phone that has an ipod feature. iPHONE ROCKS! keep up the good work APPLE!

after looking at the reviews i came to the conclusion that:
one should buy i-touch , jail break it and if u have a wm-6 mobile then install (wm router)that how u can share ur internet on
i-touch ,so now u can play with all the cool features of iphone and at the same time have one serious phone for all practical purposes.

I do work for Vodafone, in fact im here right now. And OUR Prada costs more than OUR Viewty, so i am right. I work in AUSTRALIA for whoever posted something in pounds, and our Prada costs $799 outright, and the Viewty $749 outright. Feel free to go to our website if you dont believe me.

this fone is one of the greatest fone ever made. absolutely fantastic.
the shortcoming that it had, have mostly been overcome. let me summerize the shortcomings and its remeadies below:
* no sms forward: use isms/smsd, solved
* no vdo recording: use showtime, solved
* no call filter: use p-firewall, english patch solved
* no unit converter: use converter, solved
* no dictionary: use wedict, solved
* no games: install any game,solved
* no memory check: use bosstool, solved
* no update, unlock: use ziphone, solved
* no extra ringtone: use iringtone/ringtone, solved
* no individual call delete: use wetool, solved
* no camera customise: use snapture, solved
* no extra theme: use smbpers/install theme, solved
* no vdo downloader: use mxtube, solved
* no fake carrier name: use extended preference, solved
* and so many other software to make ur fone more attractive.

I have this phone about 4 months, and i would say Apple made nice phone style ( not perfect cell phone )..But im sure all iphone users waiting for some big update soon, and apple must add couple of applications or programs in this phone, as mms, GPS, Video recording, 3G..Because every time when i go appl.com and i can see they adding app only games and games,..This is not toy, this is phone and apple must add great APPLICATIONS and not Game applications..Most of people hate iphone EDGE, because without WIFI, iphone internet works POOR and slow motion..That's why apple must update some 3G and other application, so new and old iphone customers will keep this phone and not Return..I know, it easy and great when you checking your email or going some web site from iphone, but we can do when wifi available, with EDGE we will wait little long to see that web age or email..I love this phone and i hope apple will do big update soon for 3g, mms, GPS..if not, maybe i will go with my old regular phones, which i can do all..
