BSNL must have provided u an "APN" address. Just write this address in the EDGE setting and get connected. for example in my country i use Grameen Phone (GP), what i write is "gpinternet", thats all and i get connected. no other information are required.

this fone has a numerous numbers of application softwares. this can make ur life easy and very comfortable compared to any other fone available in the market. we all are aware about its inherent limitations; no gps and secondary camera. besides these, whatever u want, everything is possible.

we should now only exchange views about the availability of various kind of software. u can now have "call block" from "iphonecake.com/src/all". try it.

This is a nice iPod and a very easy to use phone...but aside from that, this phone is just OK to me...it is media and marketing hype, and people bought into it. I do agree that the OS runs better than WM...but if you are a power user this phone will disappoint. I HATE iTunes!!! I would much rather have a phone that I can use for business as well as for play...and customize it. Don't believe all the hype, this is not the best phone ever made...it is the best iPod ever made.

First of all, stop using offending words!
I just stated my opinion, I didn't want to offend anybody.
I simply said that to me, Palm OS is more powerful, there are simply more applications written for it.
And that is important to me, since I use my Palms as laptop replacements and they serve me very well.
For entertainment, iPhone is good, but it is a shame it does not have any expansion slot.

I simply don't get it why are you Apple fans so violent. You are reminding me of Nazis, where no one can express different opinion or disagree with you...

As for the businessmen, please stop hating. as far as i know this phone wasnt meant for professionals. Want drab corporate 'to the point' phones, try Windows Mobile or Blackberries.

Its like me complaining that my CD-Rom cant toast bread. It was never designed to do that. -_-

I own a Nokia N82, N95, an HTC Prophet and an iphone.
I was skeptical about it but once i got it, let me tell you, i HATE Apple normally but this phone is revolutionary. Never had such a user friendly phone. really really easy to use. Could do with a better camera or a GPS but id rather have an easy to use flashy phone with less features rather than a 'typical' looking phone with a crapload of features which can be used after clicking through a couple of buttons.

On the iphone, nomatter what i want..click home, and tap on screen and BAM im there.

I've seen one today and the guy who had it was very unsatisfied... Actually, he uses it just to access the internet, because he says that the iPhone as mobile phone sucks.
When I have shown him my Palm, he asked where he could get one and get rid of the iPhone. :D

So, if you ask me - PALM TREO is the best mobile phone ever and the iPhone is just a very expensive, though nice looking, toy.

ILO via IPhone's Safari (view status, restart, shutdown, configure). View corporate email via Iphone's Safari. What could you ask for?.. Brilliant device!
