people, open your eyes. there are lot of better phones than this expensive and overhypen phone. this is just marketing.
iphone sux dude. mostly because it's proprietary OS.

I made a tour trought iphone´s home page and definitively has an exceptional user interface, but a long list of drawbacks as well. I was expecting this phone from last year and now i realize that is just not for me. I can´t understand why such a powerful device cannot edit office documents, any symbian S60 3rd edition can do it. I´m VERY DISSAPOINTED

Let's me tell you S.th iphone in S.E asia 80% of people they like Loud speaker Phone and simcard phone especaily in Cambodia . I met a few people that they're using vertu phones you know the price of vertu yeal? and i never see anyone have it in singapore and they said they don't like iphone like what i said above.

Apple ipgone is great but at some point apple failed to fulfil the user wants like it doesnt have and impressive loudspeaker or mms and using finger instead of screen touch pen will be a lot big problem fo the people to keep the screen clean adn specially for the peeople who have sweaty palms

The phones been made for people who like to show off. if its a phone with all the i-phones fetures and more its gota be the sony erricsion w960. compare these phone and see which one performs better

For all of you iphone fans or not alike, check out the Meizu Minione M8 due to be launched December 2007 (Google for it, its on endgadget).
The Meizu pretty much looks like the iphone (infact its a blatant ripoff as far as I'm concerned) but the specs are far more impressive:
1.) 720x480 3.2inch display
2.) 3MP camera
3.)Windows Mobile 6.0
4.) Comes in a 4, 8 and 16 GB variant. 8GB will be priced at USD 400 while 16MB will be priced at close to USD 1000.
Best of all its going to come unlocked!
If you hate it for any reason, dont shoot the messenger, I'm just reporting :P

i read all the opinions from many users, the only thing cool about iphone is the 3.5 inches wide display, besides that, the technologies of this fone are wait too behind, i think u guys should wait for nokia n97 or n98, these 2 phones may have 7.2 megapixel camrea, 3 slides maybe even 4 slides touchable screen. NO KIDDING, WAIT AND SEE

For these three things Iphone beats the rest:
1.The best ever body built in a phone.The
material used is fantastic.
2.The touch screen.Where are all the touch
screen pocket pcs? I bet none can hold a
candle to it.
3. The 'Itune'program.You do not need to
keep on visiting website after website
for downloads. You have everything
there.See!

i think investing on an iPhone needs serious consideration. Not only due to its price but its limited and should i say frustatingly disappointing 'lacl of features' compared to other smart phones available.

to be a real multimedia smartphone, iphone must have 3 mp cam, 3g/HSDPA, and video recorder

Hi all.. was wondering.. so im maltese (europe).. and shall soon be visiting america, and was considering buying this glorified iphone... the thing is.. will it work when i go back to malta? - as in would i be able to insert the local sim card that i currently use? Not sure about this AT&T contract thingy and i dont want to spend all that money.. and then not use it.. :(

Good Points: iPod and Apple are such iconic names that it will sell by the bucket load regardless if it is actually a good phone or not.
I think it was a good move to have it exclusively on only one network in the States, it gives Apple a chance to 'test' it's reaction, I'd expect they'll use the time between full release to tweak and fix any bugs, or develop softwear for it.
Bad Points: Would have sold better 18 months ago when all the technology in this handset was new. By today's standard, what REALLY is that much different about this phone? (apart from it being from Apple? Ooh, big deal!)
Also, are you going to want to replace your iPod every 12-18 months when you upgrade? I wouldn't want the hassel! With either 4gb or 8gb doesn't really make it a replacement for an ipod, yet it's bigger in dimensions than an iPod. Hmmm.

If your intention is to use you Iphone for internet, email and make phone calls....get iPhone it will make your life easier. Good job Apple. And for those people who gave negative opinion, Im very sure that you didn't even tested one.
