by the way, those who so energetically criticize its built in memory - don't ever forget - no other mobile has such memory. And again, az I said, those who had never touched it, can only say it's not good. It has everything you need, and believe me 4 or 8 GB is pretty enough for anything...after all this is a mobile, not a desktop!!??! Not to mention the so called applications hat cannot be installed...?!?! this is ridiculous, the fashion handset has everything you need!

The best ever! I have it in my hands and I say it is something you'll ever want. You'll never need another mobile. Unless of course Apple release their iPhone Nano.
And...by the way Symbian sucks. My last NokiaE50 was a disaster, speakerphone went on whenever it decides and afterwards the mobile just block out. Bad.... unfortunately, because I am a fan of noki. I was in fact!

the apple phone.. hmm where to start.. its crap.. 4gb doesnt even hold all the stuff its supose too.. poor job id say. ipods only last for 500 charges-website says soo. its gonna get scratched alot. price is wayy too expensive. its a phone who cares what it has.. if u lose the phone ur screwed out of a phone and a ipod. u mite as well just get an ipod and a regular phone. this is ridiculous for how many people want this phone. its apple's first phone they r gonna have problems..

Somewhere is a consumer looking at the Apple iPhone in an Apple or AT&T Store. They have always admired this phone and wished to get one. They like the beauty and simplicity; it does what they need. Upon announcing their intention to get it, they are advised by a friend, family member, colleague, or significant other, not to get it - as there are much better phones for the price. So, they are told about the 'Belchfire-2000' model with 64 terabytes of memory, the turbo charged WiFi, 200 giga-pixel camera, satellite receiver, DNA reader, and on-the-go breathalyzer.
While sitting in STARBUCKS, with the manual the size of War and Peace, they notice someone at an adjacent table sporting the iPhone. They look at their Belchfire-2000 in their hands and the voluminous tome of a manual and sigh; tears begin to well up in their eyes...
Get the point? If you like it, have always wanted it, get one! Don't get a phone someone else wants. It may do lots of things; but if the iPhone does what you want, then it's a good phone for you. And it is, in fact, pretty cool. And if you don't like it, you can always return it. Apple has a two week return policy. So, don’t stress it.

the phone may have a few shortcomings but hooking it to at&t made it a piece of crap.i think someone at apple got a little greedy.despite that it made a huge sale in the us because apple is somewhat a status symbol there.people here in asia cant afford one.all in all i think they will have to make it available for other sevice providers to make it a sucess otherwise if it is really that bad the truth wont hide for long,they cant fool consumers with aggressive advertising.

...and again some kid said that Apple has create the best OS,sorry they do have a stable OS,but they haven't best OS,Unix is the best OS,you should to try out freeBSD or DesktopBSD.So then you will see what is the best OS,well let me remember there is Linux too.But anyway any OS is better then Windows,because Windows sucks anyway.Don't say that i don't know what i am talking about,because i've been working with IT for 10 years.Check www.distrowatch.com

I think the developers have had a good idea,but i think they have forgetten important and miss out of things what i phone/smartphone supposed to have.So i have to say this phone sucks,i don't know if can i call it a phone or wathever.If you read the review on Mobile Review you will know what i am talking about.I have expend the same amount of money to buy a Nokia N95 or Sony Ericsson P1 .Check this link below,so then you will see the reviews,and stop whining saying this is a good and it is NOT.Grow up kids.

i don't have first hand experience with the i phone but i have the nokia n95,and i love it.didn't like the look of the i phone.

i think that the iPhone is really an entertainment center with a phone. and does the job super well.
but there are lots of us out here looking for a smart looking, rather light, dependable and easy to use business phone. there are lots of us road warriors who practically hold a virtual office through our mobile phone.
could you at apple please design a good one for us? if you need some details of the phone we wish for, we'd be more than happy to send you detail. you can post here a web address where we can send our comments.

i bought this phone last week and it is super. it seems that you can down load programs that can control other devices. i operate my microwave with it as well as open my garage door. sometimes when i go to the movies to record films to sell on pirate dvds the recording quality is excellent for such escapades
