Just a shame we will get it late and expensive compared to the USA, jus join the queue for handsets on ebay. Given that this is a "widescreen" phone it seems unlikely that the pixel dimensions above are correct, they would give the standard VGA 4:3 ratio, widscreen should be 16:8 or 16:9 - unles they are using rectangular as opposed to square pixels - that would be pretty unusual for apple. Is someone guessing the specs?

hu needs games on a phone. i never use a fone 4 games. this is "THE phone" to hav, its an ipod, a phone, and wireless internet usin apples safari browser. i watched the presentation on this phone on the apple website. its pure class. my phone is the samsung d900 and i wuld swap from a 3MP fone to a 2MP iphone. no other make is gonna make somethin like this. this is atleast 5 years into the future. trust apple 2 make sommin as good as this :P

This phone is a joke. Buy it if you want, but it is just a toy phone. The battery life is going to be hillarious. I cant wait for this phone to flop.

People been talking about this phone in the US thinking it such a great phone. I'll give a good credit for the touch screen and the internet browser friendly but the camera is bad
also the list, wifi,edge, battery,signal,and much more. I believe that Apple should just stay with the IPOD and nothing else. Even the Ipod have a bad record for the problem that it has about 30% error compare with most other electronic. The average for electronic are about 7-15% but 30% is too much. So I would suggest anyone to get this phone.

because of the multitap TS display, game controls will be virtually displayed at both sides of the screen in landscape mode for sure. it's like you're playing game with virtual control pads. and that's very suturistic=D.

Look at all these Apple fan boys ~_~ seems apple has wiped your brains with their crazy marketing abilities and fad. this is a cellphone ..battery life with music and all those other functions? I give it less life than a Nokia. not to mention its so bulky, and before on other phones everyone is complaining about bulkiness and want smaller phones...this thing is bigger than those christ. Wake up ppl. arent yall being hypocrits.

Iphone - five years ahead of the american market maybe, but that market is still a couple of years behind behind what networks here are able to do. Yes its got some revolutionary features, but its also got some bad ones
+ipod memory and user interface
+touchscreen - pinching looks so cool
+ display looks superb
+everything will work with itunes out of the box
-no 3g may be okay for the states, where free wifi is common, but over here its going to be a pain. The keynotes speech downlaoded the times website over wifi and even that was slow. Imagine it at 49kps...killer. Version 2 wll have 3g, but Jobs wants a binding contract with a network provider for all iphones... so no 3 network.
-google maps is no gps module - notice how jobs had to put in locations - the phone cant pick up where you are.
But the best thing ever - Apple want no network subsidy, because it will devalue the phone. YES!!! now we will all realise the true value of mobile phones!!! Expect to pay full whack for this baby.
Its hitting the UK in october...
