If u r not a prof. photographer, u dun really need such a high mega pixel camera....
It may be a different story if there are plenty of 5mp phones. See which phone looks cool. Nokia always had prob. with softwares. Building is the worst of all mobile companies

first of all it has gps...watch the youtube videos...second of all it uses safari internet why would it have 3g? safari is top of the line in mobile internet conection where you get exactly what u got on the comp screen except on a mobile device. iphones the first mobile fone 2 ever have that. ppl may compare it 2 n95 n say hey how about the cam. well u got a freekin ipod in the fone..all touch screen w all the features in n95 for 400s less...give it a brake 2mp aint bad. dnt get me rong n95s great but iphone ur gettin wayyyyyyy more 4 the money. ipods alone r like 250....juss 2 double the price u add allllll these other features...iphone is the best ipod apple made as well. class dismissed

i would like to make a comment which need to be reconsider for steve jobs, about the price. you were saying that iphone will release this summer however through telephone provider such as rogers in canada. why dont you just sell it through apple's store rather than put it on the telephone's provider like cingular or rogers or whatever becaue at the end, consumer will end up buying an iphone roughly 1,000 dollar without a contract and still expensive even after sign a contract for like 2 perhaps 3 years. which u were saying the price for iphone is $499 full retail for the 4gb
$599 full retail for the 8gb so basically there no point of telling us that information because at the end i might ended up sign a contract with those provider and better yet still paying an approximately for 400 dollar for 4gb ...
bottom line, what is the point of telling us the price where as consumer will ended up dissapointed of what they expect on the price will be. thanks

its a great pieces of hardware,just waiting on de PRO's & cons but it great breakthrought with mobile technology than just motorola overrated phones & nokia wake up...i would love one!

you can use Google Maps for GPS, but good arguments about the battery. That would be its biggest flaw. Batteries tend to degrade.

Regarding Email:
I tried apple's website but couldnt find the answer. REgarding email its not said if we will be able to synchronize contacts, emails, etc. with our Microsoft Office applications such as the Outlook.
It will have a PDF file reader in order to read research, etc. on the way?
What about those Ebooks. It will have a program that will allow to read the ebooks on the way too?
Im really tempted of buying this phone, but dont wanna spend that cash and find that its lacking performance, etc.

Battery and endurance needs urgently an enhancement. All those nice features are to use them. Not just to know and tell people they exist. But if you use them, you burn your battery in just a few hours. Not even a quarter of a day... ridiculous.
I cant believe such a design, such integrated features but a battery that its consumed in just a few hours if you use them.
Also I support the idea that the camera also needs an enhancement. Better quality and a good flash.

This phone wasnt made for europe nor asia markets. Thats why its features are out of date, U.S is far behind in phone technology its a fact. Of course it will sell in U.S as its a apple nad the phone market is so small.
