Why buy a 5-year old iPhone 11 that's about to lose its software support next year, when you can buy the much more recently released Galaxy A55 that will receive updates until 2029? 😄

It's impressive how a nearly 5 year old iPhone can still be in huge demand and be bought brand new.

You don't see that with any Android, which tend to lose relevance and be discontinued after only 1 year, some even less than that.

Either the world really loves iPhones (they're always the best selling phones every year), or Apple is much better at future-proofing compared to Android makers.

ramknuj, 08 Aug 2024iPhone 11 is described as a phone with stereo speakers but ... moreBroo it may be but quality matter for us. Play battle games which support SFX sound if you are good player you may notice difference by your self what does stereo speakers mean . loudness does not mean that its better.

Ok let's be real; while the specs are not impressive at its current price (around $380 in my country), it is a good entry point for a new ios user since the phones run very fast and can rival newer phones in terms of pure processing power, with the added bonus of a good software.

However, most main points that says this is not worth it has its merits; no oled and HRR, 64gb base model (the cheapest one for now), lightning port, no 5G, and small (but this is just a preference, personally I like small phones).

People will ultimately bash iPhones for their insane prices, but ngl I see a good proposition for this phone currently despite its shortcomings, which are essentially "not needed" when the phone is used for normal tasks. I personally wouldn't buy this phone because of my needs, but people who would like to try out ios can buy this phone without shelling so much money and with very little compromises (in apple talk).

I've been using this phone temporarily since yesterday, after giving my Pixel 6 Pro to someone close. The battery life isn't bad for a 4-year-old phone, especially since I don't play games. However, the display feels outdated, especially after coming from the Pixel 6 Pro, which has an amazingly bright screen. Strangely, I don't have an issue with the 60Hz refresh rate at all—it doesn't matter to me, and I can't tell any difference. It's amazing to see this phone holding up so well even in 2024, and the fact that it will get iOS 18 is a surprisingly nice bonus.

Been using this phone nearly 5 years now...To be honest I'm like wow this phone been going through a lot with me since Jan 2020..got dropped a million times, been splashes into water..been replaced the battery once in 2022 and as for now it's still working like brand new..I see no point for upgrading cause my storage is left some huge idle capacity

iPhone 11 is described as a phone with stereo speakers but why is that my iPhone 6s Plus is louder? I don't know.

Got a brand new one this August and I am super loving it!!

My Road Companion was my 4 year old Apple iPhone Red edition which I sold because a broken screen can emit radiation that can be life threatening. From unboxing you are met with an efficient phone that handles what ever you throw at it. The phone worked perfectly until it dropped but still it never had any functional issues. Its also the first phone I bought outright in the phone store which is a totally different experience than buying it online or at the Apple store. In phone stores despite it being wrapped it may be added to a batch management system that you may not be aware of. Meaning it is easier to track your movement insert rogue apps and exploit the device. I compared the use and length which was shorter than the iPhone 7 I was coming from which I bought from an authentic used iPhone store I had no issues because I only updated to stable versions and tried my best to avoid beta editions on my primary phone. I still recommend it if your on a budget and still dont want to splurge but I must say the iPhone 13 looks and reminds me so much of the iPhone 5 it is probably a better option instead with a tougher case and much sturdier appearance. The iPhone 11 is tough but fragile when dropped while moving. A nice case will make sure It bounces and avoid much damage to the screen but face drop will shatter and leave shards. Its manageable for a while but after a few moths you might get a shocking sensation or burning hot phone from the escaping rays.
