This phone will struggle at multitasking however, fast CPU cannot really make up for tiny amount of RAM.

so no need to cry about that.
iOS still runs better then Android phones with much bigger numbers,. FACE IT

While more RAM, CPU speed, etc. will definitely help Android phones with future-proofing, iOS is just so optimized that it doesn't need that much stuff. Benchmarks are a more accurate way of telling performance, but specs are good for future-proofing.
