For everyone concerned about the battery life of 12 mini, I bought my 12 mini in march and now it is may and in 2 months i have been consistently getting 11 hours SOT on every single charge. People talk about the numbers.. numbers are not everything, i have s20 ultra and that phone has 4000 mah battery but that still doesn't last me more than 9 hours even on airplane mode.. while my 12 mini is giving me 11 hours SOT every single time, i just use dark wallpapers and dark mode always + background app refresh disabled for apps like facebook and some other apps which are known to eat battery, and lastly no 5g because 5g is bullshit. it makes no noticeable difference at all so i'm just using 4g and it is always enabled 24/7 and location also turned on 24/7 even then my 12 mini is giving me 11 hours SOT.. Don't look for youtuber's reviews, the reviews are far from real life experience ! if somebody wants any proof from me i can send screenshots of my 12 mini's battery life as proof.

Battery life has actually been decent for me. I got 13 hours SOT the other day with it. I just keep everything in dark mode and use a plain black wallpaper for the homescreen. It's only 2 weeks old but that SOT was amazing. And it charges pretty fast using my huge power bank. Again, love the hardware. Still not crazy about iOS.

I love hardware of this phone. It's not really that mini. It's more of the size of a Nexus 4. The SE 1 or any 5/5c/5s are still way more compact and narrower. But it's light like the weight of the 4 at 135g. Has some resemblance to the black 4/4s and slate 5.
I think it's my favorite iPhone but it's probably my last iPhone I'll get in another 5 or 10 years. I'm actually going back using my Essential Phone as my primary because iOS is still bad with personal hotspot. My SE 1 was the same way Terrible range. Easy to disconnect. Needs Bluetooth and Wi-Fi switched on to create that hotspot.
It's not easy to reconnect. I need to dig into the settings for it. Typing with select and copy and paste is also way superior on Android because SwiftKey is superior on it. My SwiftKey on iOS doesn't really predict emojis like Android's does.
I'm just an Android fan for life now. The emulation scene is very interesting too and Android is more open to it. I prefer more varied designs So while I love ny 12 mini, it's mainly for the hardware. I do like using iOS14. It's basically used as an expensive iPod touch.
I plan to keep it at home most of the time but should remain flawless. I will still have it as my 3rd favorite phone only behind my LG G5 and Pixel 3. But some limitations and issues from iOS is why it can never be my absolute favorite.

Little device but powerful hardware and camera functions i am very happy. very handy device with powerful processor and great sound really love this device. Low light camera performance is awesome. finally my decision was right to buy this device.

Absolutely love mine, owned since release. Sure the battery is not as big is the regular 12 but no issue for me, because I'm just using my smartphone as a smartphone. The one hand ability is just incredible, not something I felt since the Sony Z3 compact. If you're using your phone to play games and watch videos a lot, this isn't for you. Get the regular one. Hope to see a 13 mini with 2500-2800mAh that would be perfect.

Nice iphone light weight battery is fine for me but i would just go for the iphone 12pro

I wanted a new small phone so from xperia compact i thought to upgrade to 12 mini but i went back a year or 10 in time. Basic funcions are missing. Very sad not be able to even send files using bluetooth. Edges also scuff easy so expensive but wuality is very medium. Bad choice but i have to do with it for the coming years.

One of the most powerful and light weight device in this world Camera and overall performance is excellent. camera performance under low light is unbelievable and battery back is also fine for me i am not a heavy user but battery backup is not bad.
