Wow. Slim and light weight, this phone is for people. Looking for compact phone , I love this size and the quality

Should they given the iphone 12 mini an hd display, battery would be great, considering that my SOT on this phone is almost 6 hours with med to heavy use.

I have had it 3 weeks and coming from iPhone 11 Pro it is nice and light and fully pocketable.. I have never liked big phones going back 22 years now. I have few problems it is with Apple not really the phone I have the problems.
Sick of it telling me about headphone volume levels I am been nannied again even though I am an adult,, Apple does not take into consideration for higher impedance headphones so have had to BUY bluetooth dongle to override this.It thinks you have loud volume but you don't. They are Soundmagic E10. 46ohms.
I plugged in phone to back up pictures and now have double/treble photos on my phone, my goodness Android does not do this apple so pain have to work out what to do.
This new icon on phone in camera I want to get rid of. In low light it starts this countdown of 2 or 3 seconds for some low light mode, cannot stand it causing me stress I just want to take photo. Apple used to be simple now it is as complex as Android. I just want to take a photo any light take video and that's it.
The phone otherwise is great I get good battery life if you have used an iPhone it is just the same as all the others.
I will finish with the usual gripes that has gone on for years, yes I really do wish it had headphone jack and memory card slot and full bluetooth why should I have to work around stuff? that is stifling the product..

1. If there is no pop out area for camera, but slighltly thick(larger) battery to cover up area making back side of phone uniform. (approx 2400mah would be enough)
2. 120hz oled display
3. Usb c charging
4. curved edges rather than current sharp edges.
5. No notch.
Might make it closer to perfect phone.

I have the 12 mini. I am an installer electronic and network systems company. My day starts at 700am to 730am every day; so the phone I use has to be ready to go at this time and give minimum 8 hrs run time before I have to think about charging it. Well this little baby does the job. I can go no less then ten hours before I even have to think about charging it; a couple times went about 16 hours. For a small battery that’s freakin’ awesome. It’s a great phone. I love the size, it’s tough, powerful, fits in my pocket or tool holster ( the big phones can’t ). This is not a gamer’s phone, not for the hard core stuff; but I’m not a gamer. I just need something that is strong, efficient, and not the size of a laptop. I recommend this phone.

Just got this phone today (4-19-2021). It's the black 64 GB model. Won't use it until my case arrives. This is my first iPhone in 11 years and since the 4 where I plan to use it as my daily driver. I will always be Team Android. I was on iOS first but I used Android as my platform for a good 10 years.
I only decided to return to iOS for my Apple Watch and most of my family are on iOS. When I was using iPhone as my daily driver (2008-2011), most people around me weren't on iOS. It became big once it was available for all carriers by 2012. Now I return to Apple where everyone now has it.
I like the design so far because the back is reminiscent of my 4 and the band is reminiscent of the slate 5 which scuffed easily. That's why I don't plan to use it until my case arrives. Had to trade-in my 7 to get the 12 mini and I won't regret it. My 7 was a Tracfone which is expensive to unlock. I got $530 bill credits from T-Mobile for my 7.

well... you pay a lot of money and your phone refuses to let the wifi printer connect to his royal aass and and the wireless charging shots down itself after 1-2 days forcing you to restart the phone to work again so you cannot charge and use headphones at the same time. not worth the money. do not change from 11 if you have it! only the pictures are better and the sound is good but... little difference for the money. I switched from Ipone 5 SE and still do not not feel I received much improvement... but rather more problems.... as I am concerned.

Also thinking of trying out the iPhone mini. Scared of the small battery but the iPhone just seems so small and powerful. The Xiaomi has stutter issues throughout the user interface. It is my main pet peeve with the brand. I even tried out a Xiaomi with 120hz refresh rate on the screen but because the UI is so freaking unoptimized it means that even simple tasks like unlocking the screen you are met with stutter.

I am not a fan of the MIUI though. The iPhone mini reminds me of my SE(2016). Its fast and capable. I am scared of that battery life.

Perfect compliment to my 12 Pro Max which I use at home. The Mini is great as a travel phone. Fits in a suit pocket without showing. Now fully converted to Apple gear. Client gave me a Samsung Android phone to use and I could not stand it. I guess a lot is personal taste.
