silversurfer, 17 Dec 2020this will be my first time buying an iphone. ive been usin... moreI went from an 11 Pro Max to a 12 mini (13 months in-between) and after 4 weeks with the 12 mini, I feel confident in saying the software experience is identical. Take price, form factor and design/available colors into consideration, but it's ultimately up to you.
Side Note: I wouldn't consider the extra camera tricks and features in the 11 Pro as the other factors I mentioned earlier are way more valuable in your day to day life imo. Also, the digital zoom on these multiple camera iPhones are comparable, if not better, than the dedicated telephoto lense. The phones even use the standard lense for zoom shots most often

I have been using Iphones for last 10 years as well Samsung Galaxy from S2 to S10.
But I would honestly say12 mini is the best phone amongst them seriously.
Battery does not matter if someone uses it wisely.

So in other words, in your opinion there should probably be a 5000mAh in it then, or a battery more than twice its current size and bigger than the one in the pro max plus? You do understand the whole concept of this being a mini phone yeah? i.e. it's small. i.e. you can't fit a large battery in it? Oh ok you don't get it, fair enough - maybe see if apple can fit an playstation, microwave oven and a hairdryer in for the ladies next time too then.

Bought this 12 Mini and a 12 Pro Max, with display always on when mounted to the dashboard in my work van the Mini has better battery, and with the 1A limit of the cars usb port the Mini charges a lot faster too. Anyway, its a perfect combo, the 12 Pro Max screen is easier to type on while driving on bumpy roads, and the 12 Mini is perfect size for carrying around and for working outside the car. Duplicate sim so both are receiving calls on the same number.
