Not an option. And Sony devices are not sold in my country anyway. Unfortunately, Pixels are not sold in my country too. Samsung A41 isn't really compact compared to iPhone 12 mini. And that Mediatek chipset on it ? Hmmm... no, thanks.

They j... morethe keynote showed it was still the diamond pentile matrix, the design for which I believe is owned by samsung. apple simply ordered them, like they have since the X. LG and BOE will have to make the same type of displays as well, for consistency.

[deleted post]I charge iPhone with 96W macbook charger. with those .2mm thick usb-c to lightning cables No issues. Can fast charge even..
Max current is wires is Amperage.. Not Wattage. Modern charger you should not need to worry too much they will regulate the current / voltage required, although you are right to use the correct wires.. like .2mm the max current try to keep it within 2A. While .3mm like those found in MacBooks... can take up to 4 or near 5 Amps. Although near 5A.. its running warm..
But i say don't worry, any charger rated for USB-PD.. you can use to charge iPhone safely... apple usb-c wires itself have chips in them, telling how much it can accept and output.

I think I go for iPhone 12 mini 256GB after I see first reviews. Bye bye Exynos Samsung trash and google spyware.

This is exactly why I've been holding on to my iPhone 8. I find it difficult to use 6 inch screen phones since I need to use two hands most of the time.

If only it had a high refresh rate, i would have actually preordered it but for 979CAD for only 64GB, it's really expensive and its funny instead of being 999 CAD they took 20CAD off taking out the charger then selling the charger for 25 CAD. I never was a fan of apple but from what i've seen they have great support and when i heard they were making a the mini i was excited because for a full screen the size is perfect, but then it is priced that much and lacking features that truly enhance the experience for such price.

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2020Sony and google pixel already do reasonably sized phones, a... moreSony and Google's recent phones are closer in size to the 12 (Pro) than the 12 mini, and their international availability is pretty bad. And Samsung followed up on the reasonably sized A40 with the larger A41 and even larger A42 so I won't trust them until they bring the size back down again to reasonable levels.
