3x zoom telephoto camera? About time, really. Most flagship smartphones with a native telephoto camera are going for 3x zoom or more. Also, that 12MP primary camera looks interesting since it has the same spec as the camera sensor used for the primary camera of Samsung Galaxy S20 or S20+ and also the Sony Xperia 1 ii.
I just hope that the overall photo quality improves massively over the iPhone 11 models. I relented buying the iPhone 11 Pro because of the excessive oversharpening.

Smartphones are limited to their size, which means that while the A14 chip runs on a 5nm process, it only has 6 cores which clock at 3.0 GHz, whereas some powerful desktop processors can have 16, even 32 cores in them, so can handle a bigger workload and therefore run more efficiently, even if they do individually have a lower base clock speed. also in a desktop, there is almost always a dedicated GPU which takes the strain off of the integrated GPU in the chip.
Because of their size, smartphones are much less efficient at dissipating heat rather than a desktop processor with a cooling fan, this means that the CPU and integrated GPU in a smartphone cannot be overclocked, since the heat produced by overclocking cores in a computer chip, if not dissipated correctly, would most likely fry the chip and ultimately kill the phone.
Overclocking makes the cores run faster than they should, in trade for consuming more power and producing more heat, therefore desktops can handle this as they are plugged into the mains and have more efficient cooling solutions, mobile chips cannot be overclocked otherwise they would be fried, therefore while the base clock speed in a 5nm mobile chipset may be higher than some 7nm desktop chipsets, the OC clock speed will be much higher in a desktop.
What this chipset will be is more power-efficient and more powerful altogether than the 7nm process in other mobile processors, the integrated GPU will also be much faster than the 7nm process, so a new generation of mobile gaming is coming, but no it won't be faster than desktop processors.

Well they are releasing a good phone 12 pro max soon with technology that already exists just a few new features which is not in android phone isnt thar big a deal. But from what i can assure you this 12 they wont do much because they will ruin their iphone 11 sales
The next year iphone will have good upgrade with worth your money tech this year no use buying its going to be exact like
First iphone x so this yr 12
Then xs next yr 12s
Then 11 then 13/14 or 20 whatever they name

Imagine how fast the A14 bionic chip is gonna be!!? The A12Z in the new iPad Pro is the fastest device I have ever used. And the A12Z is built using 7nm technology, the A14 is gonna be the first ever 5nm chip. This chip is gonna make the iPhone 12 faster than most high end desktops.
