SmartUser, 24 Nov 2020I don't know why apple doesn't reveal its device ... moreThe problem with spec, and it appears a lot here and other tech website, is when people are more focalized on the spec sheets than the products in real life.
A lot of things can't be put on a spec sheet and are not especially less important than the chip frequency etc. I wouldn't have bought a Sony X1 for the spec sheet, especially coming from a Huawei, but the day to day experience is far better (for me) with the Sony. Even with a "bad" spec sheet. I found out by trying the phones myself (thanks the 14 days "trial" in Europe). So yeah, it's understandable. Also, if you want to stay on the iOS ecosystem, you don't really have a choice, so spec sheet is irrelevant.

Nady, 25 Nov 2020No 5g if using Esim.Nope I have 2 ESIM one from Vodafone other my local carrier in Taiwan both running 5G.guess that’s some kind of problem with your settings or carrier.

Guys, who has an issue with their wireless charger? My 12 pro max was on my wireless charger last night and I made sure that it shows the battery charging symbol before I go to bed. but this morning when I was about to leave for work, i saw that it did not charge, I read somewhere that apple fixed this issue in 14.2 iOS update. Just want to ask if this is true, still on 14.1 and was afraid it would mess up some of my settings,

The iPhone 12 is not compatible with some hearing devices. For example through the 11 there was compatibility with cochlear implants. Now I have the 12 and that is no longer true. That means that after years of being able to communicate by phone that is no longer the case. It’s a terrible defect. Supposedly apple is working to fix the problem, I try every few days to see if it’s fixed but still no.

People talking about the RAM. Samsung and many phone makers use Qualcomm CPUs. They are good but not extremely efficient. Therefore needing more RAM. Its a case of Quality and not Quantity.
I'm not here to argue which device is better or all the extra features, but Apple's phone chips are top notch. If you want to argue I'm a fan boy that's fine but you have to understand its more than the fancy features the phones offer versus what you really get.
Samsung which I've had and loved have nice phones (yes I know they make the iPhone screens, maybe not for long) I personally am all about Apple's ecosystem. Samsung tried this and with Bixby (also I know Siri isn't that great comparatively to Google, Alexa is a mess).
But Between all of their devices Apple keeps things wrapped tightly giving you a better overall experience from device to device. I like Samsung on the Android side, Google has nice phones (but they never support the life of their tablets or software to make it worth while)
Many Android users talk about the phones, but not the other devices. Samsung makes great tablets but its riddled between Tizen and Google. Android needs more RAM due to its makeup, doesn't make it "Better." I do wish Apple took some more risks, but I'm glad how tightly wrapped things are. They do it well. We can talk about the ethics of their pricing, but other companies are getting more expensive (surely more features, but for the software to only be updated for two years is a guarantee you'll upgrade every two years.)

Apple don't make good phones, only HW & SW both make a good phone.
Brands don't bring you into a higher TIER of reputation and respect, so spend reasonable money on your needs. In your case, around $300 with 4G should fulfill your requirements.

Well mist android flagships have 16GB ram this have only 6.
I hope it will hande its self with only 6GB ram.
Even my 3 years old Moto X4 have 6GB ram and is really smooth but but from a lot better android we cant expect less.
That battery number is really weird. 12 Mpix too,
Nowdays phones have 108 Mpix even old Nokia 808 pureview had 41 Mpix.
Also the charging only 20W. mp jack no siupport for memory.
Maybe a 150 bucks would be a good pricing.
Othervise is really costly for all its flaws.

I have had my phone for three days. Today it has a mind of its own. It keeps turning off Facebook app. Like eight times today. I turned off phone and it has done it two more time. Otherwise I love the camera.

Making unserviceable and unrecyclable earpods is everything buy environmentally friendly.
Apple cares so much for the environment but still iphones have a proprietary connection and not the universal usb type c.
Apple says users already have a charger around and ships only a cable which is usb type c when the all previous chargers are usb a. So the consumers are forced to spend another 30 dollars for a new charger, so two separate packagings for accessories that add more waste and should be shipped in one box in the first place.
Older charger not usable with the new usb c cable provided.
New charger :another box
Earpods :amother box
Iphone:another box
3.5mm dongle:another box
Unnecessary environmentally friendly apple stickers that nobody uses.
Apple reduces the iphone packaging by 50% so thay can cut the shipping costs by half but still and still the ascing price for their products is the same.for the environment right?
What is there so inovative and environmentally friendly about those apple practices?
