AnonD-955101, 23 Nov 2020Let me cleat it to you bro. Making unserviceable and unrec... moreAgree. Removing charger is not a good decision. Not feeling good to see no charger in the box after paying a premium.

I had my iPhone 12 pro max about 12 days ago. On day 7, I noticed that my iPhone 12 pro max's main camera could not focus. I can't take document photos and scan QR code with the main camera and it's very troublesome. Had send to service center for repair.

I'm an Android user for many years until now. One of the reason why I bought iPhone 12 pro max being I thought that iPhone could last long seeing people around me still hanging on with their iPhone for 5 years. But with this experience I'm quite disappointed.

Battery life wise should be no problem. IPhone 12 pro max's battery should last you a full day. IPhone 11 Pro max has better battery life than iPhone 12 pro max.

IPhone 12 pro max does heat up easily especially when gaming.

Im getting around 10 hours sot pn my p30 pro, max brightness.
Recently I've started driving school in a relatively remote area, there was almost zero network coverage, not even one bar(tipical for Germany) ,and i was stoked when my battery went from 70 to 40% in literally two hours.

7hrs 30min screen on / 7hrs 32min screen off = 45% battery left before wireless charging at night. (on days without gaming , genshin impact 60fps highest settings overclock mode)

8hrs 12min screen on / 3 min screen off = 20% battery left (gaming with genshin impact taking 50% of the usage)

This is my 3rd iphone, and to be honest this time im really disaapointed. On my second day after unboxing i realised there is a dust in ultra wide camera. I went to authorized apple service center to rise the issue. they told me they check if there really was any issue with it and replace it which again takes 21 day i.e: 7 to 14 working days. All those suffering from preorder, waiting for such a long time was for nothing. This time i am really disappointed with apple. And also I must mention that this is my only first experience like this with iphone, my last 2 devices still works fine.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2020How about its battery ?Godly. You can use all you want in a day. And put it on the wireless charger when you are sleeping. Continue the next day.

              3 hrs wireless carplay (navigating) / daily task on genshin impact 1 ~ 2 hrs / youtube background playback 6 ~ 7 hrs / call + sms + mails + webbrowsing 2 ~ 3 hrs / end of the day still 10 - 20% left.

So i guess in 4 to 5 years time, when the battery capacity reduced to 80% effectiveness.. that's when its an issue.

It breeze thru all the tasks.. thus no impact on battery or overheat. Even in my bag when using wireless carplay.

Apple can get away with less RAM and smaller batteries and still compete with Android because their software is better optimised and less of a memory hog. Case in point, the 12 Pro Max has half the RAM of the S20+ but it’s still faster due to the A14 chip and iOS.

For one any charger/cable combo will work. You don’t have to use the usb-c cable. The only point at which Apple will kill lightning is to go portless with MagSafe. They will likely never put usbc on their phones, this is reserved for iPad and Mac lines. You don’t have to buy new headphones, dongles, chargers, and other paraphernalia you can reuse the stuff you have. Do you really need a new pair of headphones, a new dongle, and a new charger every time you get a new device. I don’t even use iPhone as my primary phone but as a secondary device and I have a couple of each from buying devices and cables over the years.
