On ios 17.6.1, performance is still pretty solid I guess, battery life is kinda underwhelming for me since mine is refurbished and just 86% of battery health but still capable to endure 4~6 hours of screen on times before reaching 20% defends on what Im doing,(mostly web brouwsing and gaming btw)Im pretty impressed...

Not worth it IMO. The screen was 60 Hz which I had to get used to. Great for average usage however battery life was also not good. It would run out quite fast, fastest I have seen in a new phone so far. Camera is great though, and it's also great for long term usage.

Apparently ios 17.6 just dropped but for now, Im not sure if there is any changes/improvement...

S23 is more beneficial. But if price not relevant or you want iOS, then buy the iPhone.
They will launch 16 soon also, so maybe we can wait a bit for price drop.

Recently got republished iPhone 13 with 87 % battery health and it was capable to endure 6 hours of screen on time with 21% battery remaining(mostly web browsing and some gaming), I’m pretty impressed..
