8 gig ram for AI is a rip off. Will be holding on to my 13 pro max till I see at least a 12gig ram or 16 gig ram model.

Apple nowadays is the square enix of mobiles they fail so hard and they are overpriced why would someone buy that? Waste of time.

Lucky, 13 Sep 2024No reason to upgrade from 15 Pro Max to 16 Pro Max. No majo... morethere are some nice new features like new sensitive button, larger display, better chip including much better NPU. I am also waiting for next generation and definitely will switch from Samsung to Apple. I like that AI will not depend so much on clouds and that Apple's policy is the "on-device AI". Of course I like that ChatGPT will be more integrated into iOS.

Very expensive for a smartphone that does only phone stuff. Samsung is offering Dex mode and expands the usability of it´s top of line.

The aaiPhone 16 Pro Max is your standard monoblock device whereas the Fold 6 is, blatantly obvious of course, a foldable device, and the latter category tends to be more expensive. If you wanna make that comparison correctly you should wait until FC Cupertino releases a foldable.

For now I'll stay with Android until Google remove every freedom that they are trying to do on Android.

We need new camera setup, how many years it is same and same? My 11 pro makes almost the same photos as my wife's 14 pro max, 16 pro/max won't be far off 14 pro max too. Come one, Apple. Okey 11 pro -> 16 pro or max(it's big but we will see) is great upgrade (in other ways) and I will do it, I like the thin bezels , the sms and imessage satellite feature (when full out of coverage or wifi).
