People who still want to use Android are probably on older versions of the OS and those people like me would probably not mind switching back to iPhone. I switched to an android because I had much more freedom with android and jailbreaking IOS was popular to get similar features. Now android phones usually have a locked bootloader which is more difficult to unlock and root. I also could replace the battery extremely easily in my android phone. The only main issue with apple is part serialization and no sideloading support. Add both of those and I may switch.

But of course, you have to give them some credit for the USB-C, AI, IOS 18, and whatever camera experimentations they did, right? Oh wait, Didn't Android companies did most of that stuff already and even made them better than iPhones, right?

mike, 12 Sep 2024megapixels don't matter at all. if you look at actual ... moreThose numbers are still nothing compared to Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and I can say that because my dad owns one and my older cousin has an iPhone 15 or a Pro one so I can compare them to 16 Pro Max because Apple didn't do many changes in the camera compared to the iPhone 15 series so I have already noticed the picture quality of S24 ultra and the iPhone 15 and Samsung is really catching up with Apple in the "best camera" race and MAYBE they already surpassed Apple. So basically iPhone 16's camera's numbers are maybe nothing compared to Samsung's numbers already. That's my opinion:)

I'm an iPhone 5 pro Max user, but there's still hanging out, freezing, constant warming up, it's like Apple consumers aren't interested at all and doesn't care, why do they behave this way to all its customers, really, this mental work hasn't been done seriously for the iPhone 5 pro Max, the problems still continue, hanging out while typing on the keyboard and it reacts much later. And 512 gb and 1tb for promax already so poor memory. Have to minimum 2 tb but still no have.

Anonymous, 12 Sep 202412 mp selfie camera since 2019 is bad practice for iPhone. ... moremegapixels don't matter at all. if you look at actual cameras, you wont see many over 26 megapixels. there is no way a phone lens is going to be sharp enough for all the megapixels and even if it is, you still have diffraction which will undo that at high enough pixel density and closed enough aperture
