Not sure why some people keep on bashing the iphone. It's like the best phone ever made. My previous phone was the nokia n82 and it sux compared to this. I've also used the n95 before and that sux even more.

Its just all speculation. Apple only announce products when they are ready for shipping. The reason 3.0 was announced was for beta testing and the SDK.
As I've said before, if you keep waiting for the top of the line handset you will never end up buying one. Sure, wait until June if you want to. But if Apple doesn't bring out a new iPhone, then what?
From a marketing point of view, what is the point of saying there will be a new product out in a few months time that will be better than the only other product they sell... what do you think that will do for sales?
As a phone salesperson myself I'm confident signing people up to two year contracts for the iPhone, because I know its an evolving handset, and that Apple will continually bring out software updates to improve it. (If someone dares mention 2MP camera...)

Some folks complanin about funtionality just don't know. With the right, now be given to consumers, they can make all sorts of apps and make their iPhones do like anything they want--to taste!
Even now with cydia or installer... u can add your video recorder and have texts on your lockscreen. Anything Baby!

Turns out that the verbiage used on the 12 or 13million units for Nokia 5800 is "shipped" not "sold". How pathetic of Nokia fans, or even of Nokia, to even release such a statement on the number of units shipped out in the hopes that the readers would think of it as sold units, LOL. Well Nokia probably knows that most of their users are dumb in english, so this would be a good way to tricking them to believe that the 5800 sold 13mil units, when actually it's the number of units SHIPPED not sold =)

isnt frustrating that all of these companies, Blackberry has storm, Htc has HD,diamond 1 and 2, Apple has iphone 2g,3g Samsung has omnia, omnia hd SE has X1.... and you nokia guys still has nothing but a phone in your minds!! how pitiful nokia fans are!!!

First off, i dont own iphone 3g & currently using nokia n95 8gb. Other day, I was playing around with one of my friend's iphone and my impression was WOW. Iphone is so beautiful, elegant, well-built and the most imp thing is that Its so simple & simple to use. It just does wat it is supposed to do without any flaw. Just regret why I did not buy iphone.
On the other hand, my fat nokia n95 .....just looks great on paper. It has so many features and none of them is smooth & to the perfection like iphone. Its like ...wat happens when u try to eat more than u can chew. Here are some great features of nokia:
Built quality is the typical nokia trade mark. Cheap plastic and woobly slider. Looks like phone gonna fall apart anytime soon.
It has 5 mega pixel camera. But takes years to open camera and by the time u take picture you realize your whole target is long gone.
Same old boring laggy symbian OS.
Does have stereo speaker and 3.5mm jack but forget about the quality of sound....nowhere near iphone.
Browsing opera on 2.8 screen is never enjoyable as in iphone.
Battery life is at max...one day.
Once in a while crash on you.
My whole point is that i paid about 700dl for this damn phone. It doesnot worth the money. It does wat it claims to do but not to my satisfaction. I am neither happy nor disappointed. Everything is just so-so and medicore.
Just waiting for new IPhone to arrive. Cant wait to get it one. NO offense to nokia fan. Its just my experience with nokia. Cheers!

iphones are great phones. okay. kids nowadays are in loved with this phone. please order your child an iphone 3g today.
